Today I went for a drive to Costco, saw tires were low an decided to leave car running while airing the tires. As I got to 35psi the car chirped multiple times.

I verified that I wasnt squishing the fob in my pocket too.

As an aside from this my car will randomly not want to lock after hitting the lock button inside the door as I exit the vehicle. It has not been consistent on what I am missing. Is it due to not letting the ebrake set?

Another aside, as I have now passed 3k miles i punched it an af the top of 2nd an 3rd it starts loosing traction. I haven't tested higher gears as that's pretty fast already lol. Thought clutch was slipping the first time it happened an glad that's not the case!

Do you happen to have the keys in the same pocket as AirPods, phone or other wireless devices?

The tire pressure chirp is a standard Acura/Honda feature; our RDX did the same and so does our MDX.

I don’t believe you can lock the vehicle if it’s running. Admittedly, I haven’t tried every possible scenario but the only way I’ve had the car running and locked was by using a the built in remote start on our SUVs.

The tire pressure thing took me by surprise too the first time I experienced it. Pretty cool feature and a nice secondary way to validate that your pressure gauge is calibrated correctly.

I'm not sure about your question about the door locking (is the car running, are you pulling the handle, etc?) but even the DC2 had a similar feature. If you just locked the door from inside, it would unlock after a few seconds. To keep it locked, you had to press the lock button while pulling the interior door handle. I presume this was to prevent you from locking your keys in the car, as this secondary step made the locking action intentional (instead of accidentally hitting the lock button with your elbow or something).

Pretty sure the tire pressure filling feature is well described in the owners manual.

I'll keep monitoring the door lock issue...I do keep my fob in my cargo pocket woth my headphones. This is my first acura and my last newest cars are from 2012 so its been a little lol. I have everything that can be auto set to auto and as I turn off the car I set the ebrake, open the door, hit the lock button on the inside an close the door. Most of the time I see the flashers indicating locked but its been 2 or 3 times where the car beeped, fast (havent counted but it sounds irgent an would guess 6 ot 7 times) and same tone as the tire or if the fob is outside the car an the car is left running. I think it has been at night an twice i had put something in the backseat prior to driving or starting the car.

The car also have a backseat beeper to remind you not to forget what's on the backseat.

You really should read the owner's manual. Lot of very good info in there. You'll discover many features of the car!

I saw today there is a lock button next to the trunk open button, lol. Perhaps a crack at the manual is in order, but finding features like this is fun too.

I'm surprised more cars don't have the air pressure chirp now. My Altima had it back in 2013.

If you were unaware, with your smart key when you grab the outside handle it unlocks and if you just tap the door handle cap behind your handle it locks your doors. Love that tap to lock feature.
