How does it feel compared over stock? Do you need anything else to replace the stock knob?
I like it a lot. I prefer this shape over tear drop and especially like that the stitching isn’t at my finger tips like the oem one. You don’t need anything else to install it but I opted for an acuity shift collar at the same time to install for ease of removal compared to the oem locker

Gentlemen. Brake fluid looks dark. Like 2-2.5 years old dark. Even tho it’s only been exactly 13 months since she was built. Gonna guess the brake cap needs to be swapped for a new one due to lack of good tension keeping more moisture out

May someone plz recommend a good brake fluid. I do not track and don’t need a fluid that’s gonna perform like a mf but would appreciate something a little better than stock with a slightly better temp range and can survive two years before needing to be flushed out. Although I don’t track I do drive a little peppy and occasionally hit fun roads with friends

thnx for any input.

edit: digging this amsoil dot 3/4 vs the oem dot 3 fluid. Dry temp is up about 120f and wet temp is up about 90f. And it seems as if it doesn’t have to be flushed yearly like motul rbf too. Anyone have any experience with it?

My fluid was 600 miles and a few months old when it looked absolutely putrid brown. Not sure what acura is doing exactly.

I don't think it's the cap, I believe they're just not cleaning the calipers and abs pump properly before assembly. I've swapped my fluid to the rbf600 and it's solid and not discolored after street use and track days. You don't need to go that overkill for street use, but I would just use a quality dot4 or dot5.1 fluid of your choice.

Rbf600 you can do every two years. The 660 and srf is definitely 6-12 months.

The ate super amber and super blue may be old school but they're solid. They also allow you to see when you've bled properly if you do more frequent rotation. Just don't take a Mc full of blue to the dealer, they'll freak out over it.

There are some lower spec Castrol dot 4 fluids that are solid too.

Honestly if you're just doing street driving, any simple dot4 or dot5.1 will do. If you really want overkill buy a German oem fluid like the audi or bmw stuff. It's far superior to the acura/Honda oem garbage.

Thnx for the advice! Always thought rbf600 was just super thirsty for moisture and couldn’t last a year. Will look into it more. Appreciate u

Installed the MB Quart sub today along with adding ResoNix sound deadener and absorber to the inside wheel wells... Will take if for a spin later to see what kind of difference they both make.

Started my mod journey this week. Sent the ecm off to Cobb to be unlocked so I can get it custom tuned by JST. Getting all the other parts on while I wait.
Changing the oil and trans fluid
Adding the WOT cooling plate
PRL intake and turbo inlet
Acuity shifter bushings
Oh that’s awesome. What are the goals?!

Bad @$$ daily driver
Love the car as is but Acura left some on the table
Brian rocks! I pulled 290whp in 5th gear, which is closer to 350whp in 4th. He did a great job making a rock solid tune that doesn't overheat on track with the factory cooling system and a bit of insulation and radiant reflection. I love the valve tuning and throttle mapping he did as well. The car is much more enjoyable.

Sounds like exactly what I’m going for. Around 350 to the wheels and still using stock cooling for now.
What kinda insulation and reflection did you do?
