Did my second fill up yesterday at the gas station that I get gas at all the time since premium is cheaper there ($3.69/gal). I usually use a $50 to fill up my cars and I never have to go back in to get change but now I have. I had a little less than one gallon of fuel left since I had 26 miles left and was getting 29mpg and when I filled up I spent $39 for 10 1/2 gallons of fuel! Now the max range I have gotten out of the car is like 320-330 miles with my daily commute so if I put the extra $11 into the car I would probably get around 440-450 miles of range out of $50 which is somewhat similar to what I was getting in the x5 I was driving which got around 380-420 miles of range from $50 of premium(93) or plus(89). I personally think that this is really good as I am getting more out of my money with my car, and since gas prices are dropping a little around my area right now I should be getting more mileage out of my money which means more time to have fun in the fun car!

Wow you have cheap fuel. I usually pay $4.50+ or so for 93,which is still a bargain compared to our northern brothers. I average between 20-23 mpg and have to fill up every 200 or so miles which is about twice a week.

Lucky. 38bux to fill.

Out here in the best state to own a vehicle, I pay 50-55bux to fill up with 91octane.

Which is still cheaper than filling up and paying 80bux like I did before.

Yeah. I remember hearing everyone talking about how they were getting like max 250 miles and I just didn't believe that since my x5 has an estimated 19mpg combined and I was able to get 25mpg combined on my commute and 18 when towing

I've been consistently getting anywhere from 28.7-29.5 mpg in my type s depending on if I am having fun in sport+ or driving leisurely in comfort. I still haven't found a use for the normal sport mode...

That might explain it, but my city driving gets me around 25-27

Nah, you're totally right we were just used to the $1.90/gal for regular back in 2017 or so

Our rates here are around $2 CAD per LITRE for 94 octane.. Back of the envelope math, that's $6USD/gallon.

Despite that I still regularly exercise my right foot.
Here it is 2$/l for 91...
