There is 93 in most gas stations where I live so that isnot a worry. I was mainly just interested in learning what putting 87 in my car entails/would do. I’m not planning on putting 87 in the car, as I believe I have mentioned before, I just wanted to know what happens if I did. hopefully that...
This sounds pretty much the same as how I drive the car when I’m using it on my daily commute. I was mainly asking the question to have the knowledge of knowing what putting 87 in my car would do. As I said earlier, it’s not breaking my wallet to put 93 in the car as it is a quite efficient car...
This question has been in my head for a while now. I’ve been putting 93 and the car and only 93, and it isn’t like it is hurting my wallet since it is still an efficient car (29mpg combined for my daily commute), though I would like to know if putting 87 in the car is possible. I’ve heard that...
That’s weird. I would think it would be a real sensor since the type r is meant to be the more real race car car, but I guess that is one way to keep the cost down.
Does the type s have the oil temp gauge as well that is just not used in the software or is the k20 that they make in the acura plant not given one at all and just given a block off plate or something?
Since I’ve been driving the type s it has always been at 4 ticks on the coolant temp gauge, even on 90+ days. I’m just wondering if it is a real temp gauge or a dummy gauge like the oem temp gauge in my Miata’s, cause those gauges don’t tell you shit till you’re already overheating. I do...
Just did my first couple of real pills in the car, only going to 6.5k rpm as the max for now, but damn! This thing is quick! I’ve only done a max of 75% max throttle and the car just gets up and goes no hesitation. I plan on taking this to the dragon next week and now it’s got me worried I’m...
Just since others around me that have bought new cars have had break in periods of 1000 miles or so. But those were german cars so I guess that might be the difference?
I've been consistently getting anywhere from 28.7-29.5 mpg in my type s depending on if I am having fun in sport+ or driving leisurely in comfort. I still haven't found a use for the normal sport mode...
Yeah. I remember hearing everyone talking about how they were getting like max 250 miles and I just didn't believe that since my x5 has an estimated 19mpg combined and I was able to get 25mpg combined on my commute and 18 when towing
Did my second fill up yesterday at the gas station that I get gas at all the time since premium is cheaper there ($3.69/gal). I usually use a $50 to fill up my cars and I never have to go back in to get change but now I have. I had a little less than one gallon of fuel left since I had 26 miles...
I'm at 700 miles and its starting to get really hard to hold back the urge of hitting redline and seeing the boost gauge read 23psi. Should I wait till around 1000 miles or should I just gradually increase the load.
Also, how long does it take for the oil life gauge to go down as mine is still...
I think everything is fine as there is no squeak when I press the brake pedal. Any way to possibly prevent this without trying to avoid running over every pebble on the road (impossible)?
On my morning commute I noticed a horrible squeaking noise that was coming from somewhere around me, and then realized that it was most likely a rock in between the rotor and the dust shield since my dad had the same thing happen with his M2 and the squeaking sound from that instance and my car...
