1st post. Just picked up a 25 Black on black Type S 'leftover.' I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions or specs for an 18" wheel. I live in NY and the Michelins suck in the cold. I don't want to have to keep mounting and unmounting the stock wheels. Thanks in advance.

Appreciate the response. I forgot to mention it was a Type S

I had Apex wheels on a couple of BMWs and was very pleased. I know they have at least one that maintains the OE offset. People have different opinions on that, with some seeking the "look" of a lower offset that pushes the wheel more outboard. I guess it depends on your priorities. The dual axis front suspension is an ingenious piece of work, and the wheel offset is part of it.

The cardinality of opinions is likely to be close to the volume of responses. Since you appear to be potentially driving in SNOW SNOW, my personal recommendation for all seasons on the OEM wheels and buy aesthetic/performance-oriented wheels for summer is essentially useless for your use case, where you're likely gonna want some actual winter tires, and probably on a narrower wheel.

If it's just for winter, the packages they offer at Tire Rack are pretty solid, and I think they offer a fitment guarantee. Almost all the ones I see are 18 x 8 +32. Others who actually drive their cars in these types of conditions should be chiming in here soon.

Otherwise if you have an extended set of requirements/preferences (budget, if looks/performance are important, etc.) we can probably narrow down some recommendations.

Thank you again for the info. I'm on Long Island. Compared to upstate, we don't get much snow. Coming from a 10th gen Si, initially with the stock Goodyear and now with Hankook Ventus V2's. It handled our winters fine.

Wondering has anyone done a set of wheels from another Honda/Acura? Looking to maintain a stock-ish look but an 18 gives me more tire options.

Michelin Pilot Alpin 5.

Size down to 18 for a little better chance against those winter potholes.

The fitment is fairly different with a 5x120.

Apex makes good stuff and a few of us have gone down this road.

Personally because of the aggressive alignment I choose to use a "performance winter" tire, but for true deep snow you need an ins tire that can do it. Good luck! Lots of decent options out there.

Went with a second set of OEM wheels (copper set) with the Michelin Alpin winter tires.

Please share specs, also considering dropping to an 18” aftermarket set, worried about clearing the front brakes. Whats the proper tire size, rim width and offset for an 18” set. Want to avoid mounting and dismounting from oem wheel yearly.

I assume that 265/60-18 is not the actual size that you're considering. That's a difference in OD of over 5".

I see where I fucked up. Thank you for pointing it out. I was looking on fitment industries. Tire Rack has nothing. Didn't see anything interesting on marketplace by me

My 18" setup:

https://www.integraforums.com/forum/threads/winter-wheels-bbs-sr-18x8-44.58346/

@MoppyChoppy 's 18" setup, plus some good info on selecting a tire width:

https://www.integraforums.com/forum/threads/09-tl-wheels-fit-winter-setup.57081/

There are some other 18x8 or 18x8.5 wheels I investigated as well, in no particular order:
  • 18x8.5 Enkei TS-V
  • 18x8.5 +45 Enkei RPF1
  • 18x8 +42 Enkei Raijin
  • 18x8 +40 Enkei Quasar
  • 18x8 +40 Drag DR67
  • 18x8 +40 Drag DR82
  • 18x8 +45 Sparco Pro Corsa
  • 18x8 +35 Momo Quantum Evo
  • 18x8.5 +32 Konig Ampliform
