Thank you! These wheels but in brushed grey. They've since undergone another color transformation; Hyper Black. I actually just put them back on for summer this is how it sits currently.

Excuse the pictures, it's amateur hour in my driveway.

EDIT: It would help if I actually included pictures:

They look awesome. How heavy are they per wheel? Do you have to buy direct from them?

See? This is how to "be different" with wheel choice in a creative and still dope way. This car looks fantastic.

(context: some dude on the civic forums trying to figure out if he could slap a set of wheels off a BMW X5 on his FL5 because "it's not what everyone else is doing")

That said, one question- did you just install the H&Rs very recently? Springs take a bit of time to "settle"... couple weeks to my experience. Reason for asking is some pictures I see the H&Rs in I can't really tell the difference in drop vs Eibach or Spoon, but this one does seem a bit elevated in comparison. Still looks great, and that's kind of the ethos behind going with H&R... but @Tw1stedlog1k I'm gonna lean on you again because I'm pretty sure this ties back to a recent discussion around tire size and I recall you had H&Rs and your car looked at least as low as mine on Eibachs...

:hmm:
Different angles from previous, different days. To me it looks like its starting to settle. Hope it does not go to much farther, driveway curb is gnarly.

Yeah looks about right now from these pics. Either it was an optical illusion in your earlier pics or you had JUST finished installing lol.

Looks great

Are you in stock suspension? Any more pics? I am, like, 2 days away from ordering new 30 profile tires, and I'm having that last round of anxiety re: whether 30 or 35 is the right choice (19s).

Put 20mm spacers on just the rears (wheels are 18 x 8.5, +45mm).

The factory studs poke out just a little from the spacers but my wheels have reliefs cut in the back already so everything mounted up nicely. I think it looks better, still could use like a 1" drop:

Pretty happy with how it looks but it rubs on all 4 corners. Still trying to figure it out, but for now all I can surmise is that "god spec" with 275 200TW tires requires some reworking, most likely rolling the fenders. Jury is still out if the RE-71RZ run wider than other 275 200TW too, because they're brand new.

More to come but for now, I don't recommend people go this route unless someone else can confirm my car isn't an outlier. It seems most people who run 18" Volks on DE5s are running 18 x 9.5 +38, and even then the tire selection will matter as well.

Maybe fitment is different from the FL5 because apparently "no one" has ever encountered rubbing on this setup. Of course I'm the deviant case. 🤡

Well, this makes me a little nervous... I have wheels and tires going on next week in a different spec that should ultimately fit pretty similarly... granted, I am not lowered, but I don't have anywhere near the front camber you do.

I purchased following multiple assurances of "no rubbing" 🙄

Aesthetically, at least, your setup looks fantastic.

Follow-up... I remember you initially advising not to worry about scrub radius and torque steer based on your experience with your 9.5 et 45 Apex wheels... in your experience, does that continue to hold true with this more aggressive fitment?

So... I don't have really that much experience as I haven't been driving it while trying to diagnose the rubbing. So take this feedback with a grain of salt.

But OH BOY. I REALLY like this setup so far. The steering feels fantastic, and the turn in is crazy. Another factor that's contributing to my frustration, is I don't want to drive it BUT I DO. If that makes sense.

On the rubbing note, I think I just had a revelation in chatting with some of the civicxi folks in the god spec thread over there. I am heavily suspicious of how the bump stops were cut during my springs install. I'll just be frank that I do not trust the shop that installed them. They've given me too many reasons to ignore at this point. I won't name names- but it would not surprise me in the least that the bump stops were not cut or reinstalled correctly and it's what led to this issue.

I'll attempt to confirm on Monday when I take it to my trusted shop to do some diagnosis. No sense in blasting them now if it turns out the install was sound. I don't know for sure yet.

But back on topic no, I'm not worried about scrub radius. I don't notice any more torque steer or negative effects, but the aggressive fitment fits my driving style very well and I can't wait to actually get it out somewhere I can exploit the shit out of it (without rubbing).
