What rattles does your ITS have?

so finally had a chance to troubleshoot where my rattle was coming from the passenger side. It looks like was from seatbelt housing similar to video I posted.

Added a piece of foam to stabilize the rattle. Gonna monitor it and hopefully that was the main culprit. Was getting annoying hear a slight buzzing rattling noise when bass hits or slightly bumpy roads

I wonder if the newer model (MY25+) years have better quality control. Looking to upgrade to ITS in the future if all those problems are solved.

Nope. I have a 2025 ITS and its a rattlebox. Door cards, seat belt plastic on the B pillars, etc.

That breaks my heart that Acura didn't solve these production issues over 3 years ?

If build quality is any concern, I assume the Japanese built CTR would be better for pretty much the same car. You can even swap the damper module for a more comfortable ride.

I'd wait for the mid-model refresh on the Integra

I thought that for a brief period but I've seen quite a few owners posting about rattles on the FL5 as well over the past year or so. Tbh it seems to be a mostly inherited feature from Honda, not just American built Acuras being worse. The seat belt rattle fix I did was from an FL5 owner lol. These cars are just stiff and have some rigid interior panels with tolerances/design decisions that produce an array of temperature and resonance dependent buzzing/rattling.

Ahh I see. I have a Mazda 3 Japanese-built and it has some rattles too, but it seems not as bad at all. I do wish they'd upgrade the interior quality for simple things like this. I wonder if the HRV/ADX have or will have the same issue with its Civic-based interior

My CX-30 also had nearly no rattles which is an aspect I miss. My brother got a 25 GR Corolla Premium Plus and so far it doesn't rattle at all with ~700 miles. Kinda embarrassing the DE5 rattles way more than a GRC (and other ~30k range cars) for way more money but it is awesome to drive other than that.

i only have 2500 miles on mine, but I feel like mine doesn’t rattle so far. I’m sure the rattles are coming…

Its sad, but at the same time it drives so well it makes up for it

I have 4300 miles. Maybe you will be lucky, i started noticing the rattles after a few weeks of ownership. I'm guessing if i take off some parts and add felt in contact areas it will help. If i do so, i will make a post showing what i did and what worked.

Please if you have the seat belt rattle fix I would love to see it. I smack the driver side seat belt height adjuster to temporarily fix it about once a week.

The seat belt rattles and buzzes because of the plastic panel that slides up and down. It's doing it with harmonics and movement, so two types of noises I've noticed. There's a guy that went to great lengths for silencing his FL5 and documented it all. He did a wonderful job so I'm looking to follow his lessons learned, and just got started on my deadening efforts. The seat belt rattle is on my list to tackle after the doors.

If you don't want to go to those kind of extremes, you can slide the adjuster up and done and shove felt tape onto the contact areas. I think that's also later in the sound deadening thread... I plan to cover mine with an Alcantara wrap.

The streets here suck, and a new rattle would pop up usually after I hit a pot hole or any large bump. The suspension being as stiff as it is doesn't help.

Also, I began to notice even more after lowering springs went on because of the stiffer ride. I feel like all the bumps loosens everything up.

I plan on getting a catback soon so fingers crossed the sound drowns it out instead of causing more reverberations. For now the stereo turned up does a pretty good job.
