Take more pictures! I'm also thinking about doing the pro kit.
couple more from this morning. Also dropping a comparison photo (mine is the left one). My buddy who did my springs and alignment has the same exact car (and will also be using the pro kit).

Installed a PRL HVI & now I'm trolling your posts looking for my next buy. I have an Acuity shiftknob & collar, red led kit, replacement black badges, a case of squash ari fresheners, & an Overland console on order.
I want to look into a few more bolt-ons & tuning next year maybe. She only has a few hundred miles on her & I'm ready to get past break-in so I can really see what she'll do.

Have you done the titanium PRL turbo inlet tube as well? That's what I'll be doing next, but paired to the factory intake with a k&n panel filter and PRL silicone hoses.

The factory turbo inlet tube is a bit of a mess internally, using a helmholtz resonator to cut down on induction and turbo noises. It's also aluminum, which is a fantastic conductor of heat... Not great given its location directly above the hot side of the turbo.

I've thought about it, not sure I'm going to get it yet. I need to let my coins rest for a few weeks.

Thanks! The drop is a little more subtle than I expected, but after looking closely, it looks good! I think that helps me make my decision. Now just to convince my driveway to not scrape my car so bad πŸ€”

it’s definitely subtle when compared to a stock car at the same time. Then again, I think it’s the perfect OEM+ look. As much as I like the look of a slammed car scraping the ground, my ITS is a year round daily for me. The pro kit gives enough drop that it closes the fender gap, but I can still get up my driveway and over the numerous speed humps on the way to and from work. I’ve had a few drives over the last couple days and tbh it feels almost exactly the same over bumps.

Good to know. Thank you! My car scrapes on my driveway as it is, but for now, its just the little vertical air dam underneath the front bumper. I may see if I can find some decent little ramps for the curb to reduce scraping.

If ride height/clearance is a concern, you may also want to compare the pro kit to the H&R drop which is more subtle yet. I went with h&r and appreciate the modest drop and near-stock rates.

SBX Performance has a good blog post comparison on most of the popular lowering springs. This is for the FL5, but should be very close to the DE5. Helped me make my decision.

Until you pointed out the left car was lower, I honestly thought the one on the right was lower, but that might have been because of the winglet.

So how much lower is it? What did your alignment work out to after the springs were on?

yeah you really need to just look at the fender gap for comparison, it’s a subtle drop for sure. Alignment specs attached.
