But for the illumination aren't you running new wires in the bumper? I feel like for your situation you'd have to remove the bumper, no?

Yes, but it's a small 2 wire loom that essentially runs in through by the passenger headlight. The entire rest of the kit installs behind the passenger headlight. I actually even cut the hole from the front (the directions tell you to do it from the back, but there's a few other panels and stuff you have to take off to get to it comfortably). I found out after holding the template to the back that it would be very easy to transpose it to the front. It was way easier to cut, and the new emblem fit perfectly. I think the hardest parts would be removing the screws that hold the chrome one on, and zip tying the new emblem wire to the existing harness. The rest was easy.

That's a great photo to show people why the wastegate rattles are so common.

You didn't want to put the heatshield back on after wrapping the turbo and downpipe?

The turbo/downpipe blanket replace the heat shields. Also, you can’t really mount the heat shields once the blankets are on.

Why can't you mount the heatshield back on? Covers the bolts?

I've got blankets sitting on a shelf waiting for me to make time still... And mountains of gold foil.

I'll take anything to cut down the heat transfer to the intake and surrounding bits. If that takes a custom shield, we'll just have to find a way 😊.

Correct, all of the mounting is covered with the blankets.

Have any of you ever removed/replaced the roof antenna before? If so, any tips for how far I need to take down the headliner to do so?

I want to swap my platinum white one for a black one.

I haven't done it, but looking at the parts catalogue, there is a bolt with a clamp underneath. My guess is you could probably sneak in there just with pulling the C-pillar covers and possibly B-pillar covers and drop the back portion of the roof liner. It probably won't be super fun, but I'd bet it can be done.

That was the plan but I chickened out as the cheap headliner was creasing easily. I kinda want to be armed with more information before I try again so I'm not just pulling randomly and then have a permanently creased headliner. That said, I looked up prices of replacement headliners and it's surprisingly inexpensive.
