When I bought ,my TLX-S (during winter), I went to the dealer to install my Tuxmats, and many guys from the dealer came and took a look and everyone was saying how nice they were compared to the OE mats.

Just an observation from the backroads carving i did the other day. I still love my Tuxmats and would buy them again in a heartbeat, but going around corners with speed makes every single pebble it accumulates roll left and right sounding like a muted maraca.

Note to self and others, empty/vacuum before going for a spirited drive.

I'm curious to know how it looks in your cars. I've considered getting myself some, lol.

But I've been told their hard to get out when it comes to cleaning, is that true?

I personally would NOT take the mat out to clean them. They're incredibly easy to vacuum in the car, spray interior cleaner on them, wipe, and you're done. Way more so than even stock rubber mats that come in most cars including the DE5 ones. I have them in some RAV4s in my family fleet as well because they're so easy to clean.

Haha I noticed the same thing this morning. Been picking my kids up from camp and the debris accumulates much faster than usual.

Another thing I’ve noticed with the Tuxmats is that my left heel can sometimes wedge into one of the mat grooves when the clutch pedal is fully depressed. Only seems to happen when I’m wearing my work boots - I don’t remember it happening with my sneakers or other casual shoes.

Yeah I get that too. Once in a blue moon but some footwear is much more prone that others. Seems like anything with a distinct heel on it.

Have noticed this issue too. Can confirm, some shoes are more prone to it than others.

I get them out every spring. Takes like 5 minutes. Wash them with the hose outside of the car to remove wall winter salt and grime.
