  1. New Integra Type S Owner

This is where I am. I like a short tight throw. I did the 4 Acuity ā€œStage 2ā€ in console mods today and am pretty pleased with the results. Some of the install was kind of a pain but now that it’s all back together it will bring satisfaction with every drive. Based on the input here, I don’t...
  2. What does this center console wiring harness plug into?

I ended up finding it. It was on the upper right side of the center console tunnel. You can’t really see it from where you are working.
  3. What does this center console wiring harness plug into?

I’m finishing up the Acuity shifter upgrade install and upon reassembly, I have a plug that I can’t find a port for. Can anyone tell me where this goes? Thanks in advance.
  4. New Integra Type S Owner

Did you have a short window where you had done the shifter cable bushings but not yet the rest of the Stage 2 Acuity kit? Any thoughts on how much difference each part made (cable bushings versus all the rest)? I have all of the Stage 2 elements on order aside from the cable bushings for a...
  5. Is this normal for the temperature gauge ?

Never seen mine over 4 bars in 2+ years/16k miles. Given that, I’d almost be alarmed if I saw a fifth bar light up.
  6. How are you keeping your white Integras not constantly filthy?

For those recommending ceramic coat, ppf, clay bar, would any of those actually make the car less dirty, or just easier to clean when I wash it? When I wash it, I typically finish with a spray on, hose off SiO2 spray of some sort. I'm doing this regularly enough that I always have really good...
  7. How are you keeping your white Integras not constantly filthy?

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find a touchless wash that's any good. They more clean the top half of the car, which isn't too dirty, and don't clean the bottom half. Then the water runs down the car and leaves these dirt zebra stripes on it. As much as I hate to, I may just have to...
  8. How are you keeping your white Integras not constantly filthy?

I have mud flaps, and feel like maybe they help a little, but the car is still constantly filthy. I don’t typically use automated washes, and handwash in my driveway where possible. In cold weather, I may high pressure spray it down in a wash bay to get the worst of the salt and crud off, then...
  9. How are you keeping your white Integras not constantly filthy?

This is my first white car. The color was not my first choice, but at the time, the car was pretty rare, particularly at msrp, so I was willing to be flexible. I am really regretting getting a white car. It is constantly filthy, I think way moreso than other white cars I see. I don’t know if...
  10. Who made the jump from A-Spec 6MT to Type-S?

I drove an aspec and noticed that the seat material is not as nice. The Type S has ultrasuede, which I think is like alcantera. The aspec gets microsuede, which to me seems like just felt or something. I didn’t care for that. To be honest Iā€˜d probably take the lesser suede to get a sunroof...
  11. Shift boot holder upper for aftermarket knobs

I had seen these mentioned on here but didn’t understand that their function was to hold the boot up. Thanks.
  12. Shift boot holder upper for aftermarket knobs

For those of you with aftermarket knobs, what are you doing to keep the boot up and flush with the bottom of the knob? My boot collar sags down sometimes and looks sad. Thanks for any insight here.
  13. Tuxmat

Have noticed this issue too. Can confirm, some shoes are more prone to it than others.
  14. Can you remove the spoiler?

This seems like a ton of work. May I alternately suggest getting the base Integra and swapping all of the Type S bits over to it, minus the spoilered hatch?
  15. Anyone have experience using Adams ceramic on interior leather (Orchid)?

I don’t say this to be pedantic, but I think it’s relevant in the context of the original question. I don’t think there’s any actual leather in this car aside from the steering wheel. If you look at the Acura specs, they use the term leatherette, which is some form of vinyl or synthetic...
  16. Tuxmat

And just think, with all the time you saved not starting a floormat thread, you can…shit on someone else’s thread taking a couple minutes to try to make an informed decision before spending several hundred dollars!
  17. Tuxmat

Iā€˜ve had tuxmats for around 16 months now. I initially had the same issue with some scrunching sound from clutch pedal contacting the mat but that has subsided. I had, and returned, the tuxmat trunk liner. It is a slick surface and stuff in the hatch slides around on it while i drive...
  18. Proud Owner of Majestic ITS

Same. Never had a white car before and I regret the color choice, but they weren't widely available at the time so I compromised. I actually think there is something aerodynamically unique about this car that sucks road spray up onto it. I don't think other white cars I see look nearly as...
  19. Weird Flex (how low can you go?)

My ā€œlowestā€ was filling up 11.36 gallons. I go pretty low regularly; I’m annoyed at how small this tank is. My tsx would go 500+ on a tank; this car causes anxiety just trying to hit half of that. I think when indicated range hits 0 you have about 1.25-1.5 gallons left.
  20. Summer tires, winter weather

I too am annoyed that there is not a low/no cost option for an all season tire like Conti dws06+, as I definitely would have opted for it. I live in the Midwest, don't track my car and those would have been fine. But in buying the car I committed to the expense and hassle of getting dedicated...
