If I’m not mistaken, most summer compound tires are like that. Something to do with degradation from freezing temps. I’m gonna be safe and put my summer wheel and tire set in the basement instead of the unheated detached garage just for that reason.

I ordered a set of those tires yesterday at 3:36 p.m.. at 5:14 p.m. I got a confirmation that they had been shipped. They arrived this morning at 10:17 a.m.. I don't know but those guys at Tirerack seem to be a little bit weak with regard to services and customer retention.

Usually. But that said, I ordered a set of RT660+ on Wednesday the 30th, and I got 2 delivered 3 days later on Saturday, and the other 2 didn't arrive until the following Tuesday. That's still not terrible, but I had inflated expectations of the tires arriving super fast like you describe and it kind of bit me in the ass.

My set has the same white marks. Has anyone else mounted theirs yet? I’m waiting on wheels to arrive.

No white stuff on Mine , and they were stamped 5022, tires seems solid so far, the guy at America's Tire who did the install were like "I'm assuming you dont want the $77 warranty per tire" i passed . The rebate was a breeze too
