Yeah, SCCA can make things tough. I'm a 40 year member and use to the stuff. As to the legality of a ITS, have someone protest you. It'll bump up and hopefully found to be legal in the equivalent CTR classing. The only real (bad) differences are the seats. You can't thread safety harnesses...

I tell folks now: "I used to be fast." It's a lot less pressure for SCCA Nationals knowing I won't be at the "top of the page" (results). But my name is in the "back of the book" (what's a book?) or appendix.

Long story longer. Late nineties, I had a '95 Porsche 968. Some friends at Armstrong/Pirelli in New Haven were closing up and had these tire bags with Pirelli logos. They asked if I wanted them, Sure!!! They weren't for retaining heat but keeping the car's interior clean.Fast forward to the...

Hi everyone, Thank you to those who offered up parts for my car. I stopped by the shop doing the work and talked about the parts installation, the insurance company, and what will be best in the long run. I'm going to let them order new stuff for a variety of reasons. The shop is good and I...

  17. Parts wanted (OEM hood scoop and rear spoiler DE5)

The body shop is getting a little whiney about double sided tape to install it, but that should be a minor concern.
  18. Parts wanted (OEM hood scoop and rear spoiler DE5)

Was double sided tape used to help affix it to the car?
  19. Parts wanted (OEM hood scoop and rear spoiler DE5)

Those parts on my Type-S got scratched when a neighbor of mine cleared snow from my Type-S. I know a lot of folks here change these parts to carbon fiber pieces. But I'm wondering if anyone wants get rid of those parts (that are cluttering up your garage/storage :) ).
  20. Driver seat bad creaking- Dealer said “normal”

Just make sure your concerns about the noise are documented on every repair order. If you go beyond your warranty ending, you can show proof of the concerns prior to the expiration. As I posted earlier, my dealership dealt with this on one visit.
