Passive tire warmers/covers are still legal. Electric or putting them in a a car with the heat blasting (and putting them on a car just before you run) is not legal.
I have a set that can retain heat as they cover the outside of the tires and the tread. They double as bags/carriers, too.

Those parts on my Type-S got scratched when a neighbor of mine cleared snow from my Type-S.
I know a lot of folks here change these parts to carbon fiber pieces. But I'm wondering if anyone wants get rid of those parts (that are cluttering up your garage/storage :) ).
Just make sure your concerns about the noise are documented on every repair order. If you go beyond your warranty ending, you can show proof of the concerns prior to the expiration.
