are these rattles generally on 2024? or have 2025 owners also experience? or perhaps given time...
i'm paranoid now
I don't think model-year matters... just how much effort someone was committing to your vehicle during assembly. Mine were obvious from the start, just much more prominent in cold weather. If you're not hearing anything, I wouldn't worry about it.

I hate to post this for fear of angering the rattle gods, but my car has none of the rattles. Bought in fall of '23, number 1200 something made. Thought I had a rattle a while ago but it went away. My car is basically silent other than rocks in the brake heat shield every few days or so. Perhaps the factory started getting hastier with assembly after they got further into production. Just don't want people to think that all ITS' have these issues. I know I'm lucky.

Well, I finally tracked down my last major rattle. It was an obnoxious one that occurred consistently at 3200-3600 rpm. From the driver's seat, it sounded like it was coming from the center of the dash. From the passenger's seat -- probably due to reflections off the windshield / window --, it sounded like it was coming from the corner of the vehicle (towards the door / passenger side AC vent). Turns out, it was coming from the center console. There is a very cheap plastic duct in front of the shifter that fits very loosely in place (#2 in the diagram), and it vibrated at ~3500 rpm.

I was able to identify the problem by letting someone else drive (pushing and coasting in the problematic rpm range) and listening closely in different positions. It wasn't until I actually had my ear up to the center console that I could determine that that was the area the rattle was coming from. I pulled off the piano black console cover and tried touching different components inside the console. Light pressure on the duct immediately resolved the rattle. I was able to fit my hand in there and wrap some duct tape around the joints at the top and bottom of the duct, securing it to the outlets it fits into (without the tape, it moves pretty freely).

A long, spirited drive this afternoon confirmed the problem was solved. The fix itself took 5 minutes. Hope this is helpful for someone else!

Awesome find. I'll have to check mine when I do my shift kit and replace the console.

Ironically, I installed my Acuity shifter last weekend, had the console off, and had no idea the problem was sitting right there, lol.

Give the piece a wiggle while you're doing your install; you'll be shocked at how loose it is.

I wish this was my issue but unfortunately mine is 100% coming from under the dash far right towards the a pillar and resonates across the entire front windshield air duct and right side at times . Anything over 75F degrees and it somewhat stops , Mostly happens when it’s colder out side also at 3500rpms and up on acceleration and deceleration. I am happy you found the source though .
