My ITS beat a BMW M light

Whats up yall,

We all know as Acura/Honda owners we get some seriously envious hate, and I know some of us wonder why ppl so mad ?

Well here is one of the reasons why ppl hate Hondas so much

I beat a BMW M light with my Type S, I have a few bolt ons and a Hondata Base map, Enjoy and rejoice for the Power of Dreams!

What kind of bolt-ons? M240s are pretty damn quick bone stock and with mild bolt-ons would demolish the DE5.

The Integra Type S is not a fast car. Neither are most BMWs until you get to the actual M cars, and then only modern ones F chassis forward. That said, any BMW with an S58 it's not even close. I don't care what bolt-ons you have, unless you're one of those guys that claims 600+ whp.

I can't even tell what kind of car this is anyway. Or even if the guy was trying to race. Probably not.

Even if you did make 600+ whp, congratulations. You ruined a perfectly good driver's car to "clap" someone and post it on YouTube? That deserves all the same clout as winning your 3rd grade spelling bee.

I got no illusions whatsever about what my car can do. It's fun to drive, it's quick enough but it's not going to gap a lot of performance-oriented cars out there with an intake and base tune.

I understand that M lite is anything that's not actual M

FWIW, anything with a manual isn't ideal for drag. Many Porsches aren't fast in a straight line either. And the real drag race winner right now are EVs. Some M-lite cars are pretty damn fast too. I gave it a go against a X3 M40i with the B58 and he handily pulled away.

M lite is the _40i range.

Sure some _28's and _30's badge themselves ///M but in my books they are not M lite cars.

Honestly the most comparable BMW size and price wise (at least in Canada) is the 330xi and the stock ITS smokes it.

Thats my old car. BMW m240i. Same engine as the Supra. 3.0 v6 good for 300 hp stock. When flashed that thing puts down almost 400 hp.

Anyone can go fast in a straight line. I'd be more impressed in the twisties.

M340i walks away from an ITS any day of the week tbh a tuned ITS would have an issue with a stock one. The b48 (330i) is no slouch either and with awd pretty quick. The ITS is a great drivers car in the sense of the Miata etc, fun around corners and the shifter is amazing, but drag racing speed is not its forte. Hell some minivans may give you a run from a stop if it has awd lol, we just don’t have a very fast car
