I know I have been MIA for a few months and have definitely missed driving my Type-s. However I finally got to install my MBRP exhaust that has been sitting in my garage since November. Below is the install video with some surprising comparisons with the PRL front pipe TSP downpipe and Stock downpipe.
I am still on the fence about this exhaust... Will need to give it a few weeks before I give my actually opinion.

Thanks man. Good vid. Honestly not sure it sounds that much better. I recently heard what My car sounded like from the outside, with just the TSP downpipe and the stock exhaust, and it sounds good. Like aftermarket would. Definitely not a boring OEM offering. I kind of want an exhaust, but just not sure if that's just the mod bug. LOL

I said the same thing after install, I was worried the cabin noise level was too much for everyday driving. However after about a week or so it didn't bother me at all and I actually prefer it over stock

Thank you for making the video and sound samples. So it looks (and sounds) like the MBRP exhaust lacks the small resonator before the tip of the center pipe that the stock exhaust has. So when it's open valve it's basically just a straight pipe. I think I prefer the stock exhaust sound better because the small resonator in open valve mode removes some of the rasps and high pitched crackles of the straight piped center tube. I have TSP DP, RV6 FP and stock mufflers and I think it's where I'm going to stay for the time being.

How does the MBRP in comfort mode compare to stock?

Correct it does not have the "little" muffler on the middle tail section like the stock does.
I would say Comfort with MBRP is like Sport with stock in volume level but the tone itself is a little different.
Highway drone is very mild compared to what I thought it would be for aftermarket exhuast.
The burbles are a little more like crackles. pretty snappy and will turn some heads..
Also to note it does a little burble/crackling in sport mode too and not from the ECU retarding the timing like it does in sport+.
It came with a straight mid pipe section and resonator (which I have the resonator installed).

ALSO FYI..
Stock exhuast weighs 40 lbs + 8 lbs PRL front pipe
MBRP exhaust (with resonator) 61 lbs + 8 lbs MBRP front pipe
So 21 lbs heavier in total...

I am floating the idea of selling it already, I guess I am just getting old and wanting things quieter..
it looks hella good though.

Usually aftermarket exhausts remove weight. Interesting to hear that it weighs 20 lbs more.

The factory exhaust is made of decent steel and all one piece. Aftermarket will be similar quality steel (maybe a bit better, but roughly same weight) and add weight from connections, larger piping, and hardware.

We need some options with carbon/ti res and mufflers to lighten things up, but that's ???
