the hardware de-fouler isnt 100% on the newer ECUs but worth a try. not sure if Phearable will disable the P0420 code without a fee these days. they have in the past.

Well when you pay $350+ for a piece of software you would think its an option and I did tell them if they can add that to the tune. I did flash with Hondata canflex tune and it even gives you an option to "modify" your tune.

my own personal opinion and i can see both sides.

1) there is nothing in that tune that is intellectual property and it's been paid for so it should be unlocked and editable fully by the end user.

2) i can see the tuners perspective also tho cuz they gotta make their money too. they dont want morons sending their tunes to their friends or posting it on a forum for all to have. i respect the hustle.

So beside the "emission error" message im also getting "rev matching error", are they both related? An o2 issue shouldnt have anything to do with the rev match?

re: #2... they also don't want someone messing with the tune, damaging the car, and blaming them.

I get both arguments.

Update: Cel went away. Phearable told to disconnect the Hondata app and it went away. So there's an issue with the Hondata app and the flash.

Any who.. filled her up with 4 gallons e85 for the first time today so we'll see how it is driving home.

4 gallons seems like a lot, I only put in like 1.4 and filled with 93 to get to 20%.

I use the calculator from Phearable and with 8% Ethanol in the tank and waited for my tank to go 60% and I got a reading of 35%. Next time for sure I'll just put maybe 3 gallons. I wish our gas level meter show a "percentage". The bar doesn't really help when you're trying to figure how much you have left.

Try IMW next time it seems to be the best and most dialed in for our platform. I use the dots as 10% each and then divide MPG by miles left and it will get me an exact percentage of 93 (or whatever gas) left.

Also test your pump periodically, mine was only E70 when I filled so I had to add a little more than normal. I got to 19.8% with that calculator with the goal of 20.
