Popping in here for those watching the thread to let you know we've now restocked with the full production run! Price is the same at least til the end of the year. No guarantee after that, due to market fluctuations and changing tariffs.

We do have different tunes for springs, depending. Make sure to note your setup at checkout! (If you forgot to, let us know and we will get you the correct file.)
What’s the best method for requesting an updated file? I don’t believe my unit has shipped yet based on tracking but I wasn’t aware at the time of pre-ordering that we should include such details.

I'll pull yours from the shelf and update now. Since I'm here right now you could reply here, DM, or send us an email.

I'm going to edit the "Current shocks" field to make it a little more in your face.

Waiting for some more reviews, but this has my attention. I have zero desire to modify the powertrain or stock suspension parts, but computer controlled dampening refinement...go on. :)

This is the time of year up in eastern PA/NJ where more comfort is nice especially on highways where roads get roughed up due to plows/salt/freeze cycles. TY @optronix for your thoughts on first drive was a good start for sure, looking forward to a few more updates from users on stock suspension .

Good call. I think that's the key- There is a field for customers to input this when you order, but it may not be super obvious to those who may still be in "research phase".

I want to be clear to anyone following the thread I'm just a customer and @Maya@DSC is your definitive resource- but my understanding is that these various off-the-shelf baselines are ultimately optional. The unit will still "do what it does" from an adaptive perspective and adjust damping in real-time based on driving conditions- but the "base map" can be better optimized based on whatever your current setup is. That's why the engineers wanted to test my car, to better optimize the setup for those with Eibach Pro-kit, as it's a very popular spring option.

All that said, I had an opportunity to really get some seat-time and racked up probably north of 200 highway miles yesterday. There is a DEFINITE and OBVIOUS difference in Comfort mode! It's not a miracle device and doesn't solve the occasional pothole - but man, this car now feels like it's among the most refined luxury-sports cruisers I've ever experienced on the highway! WITH THE SPRINGS.

It's always been pretty good, don't get me wrong- but now I'm reminded of the quality of the S4/RS5 I used to have, and the Porsches I've had with non-sports suspension (the ones with SPASM/X73 were more "intentional" and made some compromises... although I'll note that the original DSC controller I had on the 991.2 with SPASM was also fantastic and accomplished the same result). Those cars did a great job of smoothing out the road surface but in a way that made you still feel like you didn't lose that sense of "athleticism", if that makes sense. This one is right up there with it now, more so than it was before. It feels very "German", perhaps some of you can relate.

(Note: I don't really count the F82 M4 I had... that car was pretty good on the highway but actually BAD everywhere else. And I had the adaptive suspension on that car... the OEM DE5 was actually better than that car)

Very happy with this purchase, and yes I agree that those out there with stock suspension will likely want more testimonials from folks with stock suspension, but the logic/concepts remain the same and I'm quite confident the experience will be consistent, if not better.

Again, I'm not a shill for DSC, just very pleased and impressed with the product.

I really don't need these good reviews before 7am with my credit card near by :p

Our other daily is a M340 with adaptive option and that is the bogey for me. Its noticeably smoother in comfort and sport all around then the ITS, and this is not how the world should be. My car should be better then hers right? :)

It's only $1000 right now. I paid $1400 for the original 991.2 and thought it was a steal. This is a no-brainer.

Very glad to hear this!! Yes, the controller will work just fine with whichever file. The variations we create are optimized to those setups, but not the end of the world. I would send out the lowered file directly to our list, but inevitably it will end up being useful to some, and concerning the rest, who will wonder if they need to update their controller. If you have lowering springs and it wasn't an order note, reach out in any way and we will send it over! It is just ultimately easier for us to hear from each customer directly and get them the best file, rather than making you choose from a list.
