With this input and further tweaking, I've arrived settings I'm quite happy with in most scenarios on the road. Comparing his settings and mine, there's quite a bit of similarity. This will likely be the last update from me for this comfort map unless there are some glaring issues identified...
One more update after driving on the highway around Florida revealed some NVH was introduced in v1.3. So this is more of a refinement to reduce some of the NVH w/o losing all the feel (kind of a compromise)
This changelog tracks the evolution of your "Chassis Touring" map from v1.2 through to...
I'm back already w/ an update: v1.3
This changelog outlines the specific updates made to your "Chassis Touring" map, transitioning from v1.2 to v1.3. These changes focus on synchronizing your software parameters with your hardware—specifically the Spoon progressive springs, RV6 rear sway bar...
I've recently changed my wheel setup, so I'm selling these wheels. There's a few light scuffs here and there shown in the pictures attached, but no dents or dings. Owned for a year and comes w/ the black center caps.
Prefer to meet locally in the Clearwater/ Tampa, FL area, but willing to ship...
So after some time playing w/the DSC Sport and switching through various maps (thanks @bisquick) I thought I'd make my own contribution to the DE5/ DSC sport community.
While I thought bisquick's comfort 2.0 was a further improvement on his goals, I thought I'd start exploring what the tuner...
So I've had some time to drive around w/ the base map, v1, and v1.1 of your comfort map.
I have a similar setup to yours with:
Spoon lowering springs
RV6 rear sway bar (middle setting)
Advan TC-4 w/ Continental Extreme Contact Sport 02 tires (265/35/18)
So the base map for me was an...
Thanks for sharing! I was going to try your v1, but I'll try this v1.1 and give you my feedback. I'm totally new to messing with DSC tuner, even though I had one for my 718 Boxster..
This came off the car after about 500 miles as I'm going back to the stock trailing arm bushings for now.
I'm selling it as a set (trailing arm with RV6 bushing pressed in already). Save yourself the hassle and money of going to a shop to get it pressed in. This is basically a bolt on part now...
As a follow up question to this, are there separate tuning files for each spring setup (Eibach, Spoon, H&R, etc) or a generic "lowered" file?
Also, for those of us that have a different spring setup, are we able to get the original stock spring map in the event we ever go back to the OEM...
Hard for me to say since I've had the RMM on the car ever since I bought it. But I haven't noticed anything that bothers me NVH-wise. I think most have had a similar experience.
I'm moving more towards a dual duty track build and while the PRL has been great to this point, I'd rather move to something stiffer to get better feedback/ response. PRL is more for OEM+. Slightly stiffer from stock and noticeable improvement without sacrificing ride quality, IMO.
This is the rear motor mount for the Civic Type R FK8 FL5 or Integra Type S DE5. Been on the car for about 6000 miles and switching to a different mount. Prefer to meet locally, but will ship. $130 local or $140 shipped.
