Thank you! Actually after my co-driver win, who thinks this car is a perfection and I don't need to change a thing about her, I am thinking more about staying in BS. So, I am shopping for forged 18 wheels, and all I can find even on Titan7 site for ITS has offset +45. I am not the smartest, but today I question my intelligence even more. How to stay within the class with +53? I want a spare set of wheels so it's just easier between the set of worn tires to replace them. And I can take a spare set to an event, kill he old one, and replace on site. Anyway, what is this offset thing that is out of range for me to stay at BS class?

Look up apex wheels. They have several fitment in forged and flow formed (won't really make any difference) that will fit and stay within class spec.

Offset is how far the wheel mounting face is from centerline. Lower offset is closer to center and negative offset is on other side of center. The offset determines poke and spacers are included in that calculation. Going away from stock offset is a negative impact to performance overall.

Passive tire warmers/covers are still legal. Electric or putting them in a a car with the heat blasting (and putting them on a car just before you run) is not legal.
I have a set that can retain heat as they cover the outside of the tires and the tread. They double as bags/carriers, too.

Did you make them yourself? I am looking at tire covers for RVs and trailers in storage, and thinking whether they will be effective. Or the only way to go is custom made covers?

I think +55 is the closest you'll get to the +53 if you want Titan7:

The 53 offset is a unicorn. Titan only did some limited sets. I got lucky.

NP! If you get them, post back. I almost grabbed a pair to daily, but stayed with 19s for that. I'd pick these for autocross / track, etc., though (anything 200tw). I think they're basically perfect fitment from a performance standpoint.

I am definitely slow today. They are 10 wide, which will push me out of the class. I need to find the 9.5 ones...

Their sm10rs, vs5, ec7 all come in bs class legal sizing.

The sm10rs are forged and other two are flow formed but they're a strong flow formed wheel and built well just like the oem 19s. A good flow formed wheel will be 90% as strong or more as a fully forged wheel. In practical use cases it won't make a difference. If you're running slicks on a road course for hours on end, it starts to make a real difference.

Thank you, so do you think flow formed with 58 offset will be better than forged with 53 offset because they sit closer to the original 60? With a $1k difference in price. Those are the only avail in 18x9.5.

In the case of apex, you can see the load ratings they publish and comparing the vs5 to the vs5rs you're looking at a flow formed wheel that's just as strong as the forged version. On their ec7 it's 96.8% as strong as the forged wheel. That won't make a difference at all.

Personally, I'd go as close to stock offset as possible (and I did - I run the ec7) because Honda designed the high offset to combat torque steer. However, between 58 and 53 you're talking minor differences... Noticeable once you develop enough sensitivity and potentially those few mm might matter in a slalom (you can get 10mm closer on center so if you're splitting thousandths between yourself and another driver that can be the difference). Again though, that's elite level feel difference and style of wheel might outweigh that a bit... I mean, a confident driver who likes their wheels is a better driver than one worrying about what they look like.

Edit: I'll also note for my track use I'm looking at another set of vs5rs in 18x11 because I like the motorsports gold color . No other reason other than the flash of gold on red

I couldn't imagine how possibly you modified a 2026 DE5 to get into XA, but was shy to ask that question. What did you change? Just wheels and tires? Oh, and now suddenly CAN DE5 makes sense...

Thanks for helping. It's lowered and I run 15/22 mm spacers. Downpipe will be installed as soon as it arrives also.

I've been researching to understand better and I think you're right. I'm gonna be out gunned a little in XA I think but oh well.
