Hope everyone is doing well.

First off, I will only recommend this spoiler if you're trying to go the non carbon fiber route and not pay the big bucks for the oem+ cf spoiler. However, with this company, it's made to order so expect a ~3 month turn around time. I wish they would disclose this on their site, however you'll get an email a week or two after ordering it saying it'll take them 2~3mo for production to product arrival, what? Lol

From their install video until current day, they did away with the two bolts on each side of the spoiler. So pretty much it's only double sided molding tape that's holding the spoiler to the car.

Install took about an hour, I would recommend using painters tape to lay down prior to install so you don't scratch up your paint removing the original spoiler. Also, maybe a magnetic 8mm socket to remove the two bolts on each side. I lost one and is floating around somewhere in the trunk lol.

Regardless, attached are some photos of the before, during, and after install. The car actually looked very clean without it too 👌

I noticed they remove the bolts when I was checking out their offerings a few weeks ago. Do you feel it's secure enough with tape alone?

I've been waiting for that "Add to Cart" button to activate for 3 weeks now :( . I'm not big into carbon fiber as I once was, so I don't mind waiting to save a few 100 dollars and for a gloss black version.

Their website now has a disclaimer "WE CURRENTLY SHIP TO UNITED STATES & CANADA WITHIN 1-2 MONTHS AFTER YOU PLACE YOUR ORDER" so I already now there's a wait-time after the order is placed.

Wow from 8 holes with fasteners, to just tape? Interesting

should be fine, especially if you used 3M adhesive promoter. That stuff works!!

I hate that they got rid of the two bolts on the side. Seems like it would've made it more sturdy. Their website states that the new batch is even more form fitted so it's not needed.. but I wonder.

I'd imagine the two securing bolts might throw off the alignment on the install. Regardless, I feel like it's a snug fit, no gaps or bulging.

My previous car had a duckbill spoiler attached with 3m strips and adhesive promoter, held strong at 150mph for numerous track days...

Noice!! Yeah it's strong tape. If I didn't feel comfortable I would have bolted it down.
