  1. What did you do to your Integra Type S today? ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿป‍โ™‚๏ธ

Funk Motorsports turbo blanket arrived today, but I'm going to wait to install it because.... (drumroll) I just ordered a PRL titanium turbo inlet tube from Two Step Performance, with the silicone hoses to mate with the stock airbox. In my experience, airboxes are rarely an initial constraint on...

If ride height/clearance is a concern, you may also want to compare the pro kit to the H&R drop which is more subtle yet. I went with h&r and appreciate the modest drop and near-stock rates.

Have you done the titanium PRL turbo inlet tube as well? That's what I'll be doing next, but paired to the factory intake with a k&n panel filter and PRL silicone hoses. The factory turbo inlet tube is a bit of a mess internally, using a helmholtz resonator to cut down on induction and turbo...
  4. G80 M3 to Type S what do you think?

My sentiments exactly. My most recent cars were an M550, two M5s, an M4cs and an M2cs, oh and a 335is. I traded in the M550 and M4cs for the ITS. I wanted to go back to a car that's fun at any speed, and doesn't weigh so much that it numbs the experience. That was my math.

Changed my transmission fluid out today (first flush so far) to Redline MTL. So far, synchros feel very slightly faster than the factory fill. More noticeable on higher RPM shifts.

Yeah, agreed on the above. Acuity told me themselves that the time you really notice the cable bushings is at the end of the level travel, as there is no rubber "bump stop" to compress. Once they told me that, I knew I wanted to keep that part stock as I value a little bit of damping at the end...
  7. no benefit to the LSD in the 6MT?

Not in everyone's case, unfortunately. https://www.integraforums.com/forum/threads/just-got-phearable-stage-2-tuned-rev-hang-is-still-there.57710/
  8. Just got Phearable stage 2 tuned - rev hang is still there... :-(

I'm starting to wonder if it's an issue with the recirculating valve not working well enough, creating an overpressure condition that the ECU "lets past" the throttle plate in order to protect the turbine. That could explain the variability. Obviously, this is just wild theorizing at this...
  9. Just got Phearable stage 2 tuned - rev hang is still there... :-(

FYI I asked Derek at IMW about the tuneability of this issue and he concurred with Phearable that the only "feature" Hondata presents to the tuner are the checkmarks for two levels of rev hang delete. Hondata does not expose other tables or settings that are pertinent to the behavior so tuners...
  10. DSC Sport Suspension Module for our cars!

I would think someone willing to buy something this advanced wont be averse to turning their laptop on and uploading tune files (or tweaking their own settings). It's no more difficult to learn than any other tuning interface, based on my prior experience with the C7 platform DSC controller.

I went ahead and ordered a roll of DEI material, as well as a Funk Motorsports turbo blanket. I have more faith in their products than others on the market. Thanks for the inspiration!

Did you use the DEI wrap? If so, how much did you end up needing? Also, which turbo blanket did you choose?
