Question for the experienced Hondata people: I am going to try a canned Hondata tune, but with the integra type s selected as the car, I cannot disable pops and bangs (it reselects itself). Is it okay to use the Civic Type R binary in place? Or can that damage the ECU?

These fully replace the current covers. Remove the old, install the new. There is 3m tape but it doesn't do much. The clips are what secure the covers. If you want the tape to do anything, double it up so it's thicker and has more pressure. I'd say that's optional though because the clips are...

It is far less prominent if you are shifting near redline because the ECU won't let the engine redline. If you WOT shift earlier, like 6k, that's when it's really evident.
