Shift is good but not perfect

Anyone still get the notchy feel when going from 2nd to 3rd? 1st to 2nd is perfect and also 3rd to 4th. I think its the lateral movements thats more notchy. Any kit or bushing that will make them all buttery smooth?

Mine was s bit notchy going to 2-3 and 4-5 when it was brand new. It got better overtime possible due to break-in. I heard people changing transmission fluid to Amsoil or GM Synchromesh would improve the smoothness.

Had a 2008 Evo 10 thats the king of notch! Lol im not too concerned about it. Figured she need to be broken in.

The manual in these cars, despite getting glazed by auto-journos who just endlessly repeat each other, is not that great out of the box. It's okay, but far from extraordinary.

There's a lot you can do to improve it.

None. Brand new 300 miles lol.

I'd say wait until 1,000 miles on the odometer before change anything. It took that long for my shifter to feel broken in. That's about 2 gas tanks worth still to go.
