I have the tail light rubbing the bumper issue. I read a few people also have that as well probably due to how the corner tail light angles down and vibration scrapes the corner. I ended up just putting touch up paint and cut a small ppf to protect it from rubbing.
Another paint issue I had...
kind of hard to tell if the bump is coming in or out but i assume it's the part where it has a paint chip and a bit of rust. Kind of looks more like someone accidentally bump it with a flat head since there it looks like a small gash as well. You can try to call the dealer but you mention it was...
There is a specific way you have to route it so the window can roll. I don't remember off top of my head but best to take the door card off and see where it's getting caught.
All you really need is 1-3 and 7. Realistically you just need 1 and 2 if you have the rest of the parts just laying around.
I made quick connects since I didn't want to clip stock connectors but it's not really needed if you have no intention of ever going back to stock.
Yeah I did, just didn't take a picture of it. I only made the quick connect just in case if I have to switch back to stock, I wouldn't have to resolder the connectors again.
Just curious what happens if you don't reduced the subs down to 2ohms, would it just make the amp run hotter?
Thanks for the comprehensive guide, was able to tackle the subwoofer upgrade over the weekend. I probably should have done a comparison with stock before the upgrade since I can't tell if it was a big improvement over stock, maybe slightly? Can't complain since it only cost $60 and probably a...
I know I had a bit of notchy feeling from 1>2 and 2>3 when it was new. I took it as a break-in period and overtime did get better. Have about 5k miles on it now and doesn't feel as bad. I had an 8thgen civic and always had a notchy feeling from 2>3.
If it's all gears for you, i'll take it to...
dayam awesome price.. Too bad you're across the state from me. I have a buddy that's in St. Lucie but don't think he's gonna be visit cali anytime soon.
Had it for a few months but decided to go to a different route. Still in good condition other than one minor scratch on the bottom (hidden can't be seen). Doesn't require to remove the bumper and uses existing holes and double sided tape. I already removed the old tape so newly fresh one can be...
Currently tariff price is about 15% but I've read some horror stories that UPS did some crazy tariff calculations and charge multiple different rates based on material used. When I purchased mine, I was charge about 5-6%, that was before the hike.
I bought my rims from BHJ and they are legit. However, if you're buying Volks and any name brand rims, there is a wait list. It's based on manufacturing schedule and you're just jumping on the queue based on their manufacturing time. Took me roughly about 6 months to received my G025. As mention...
If you can figure out a way to remove the clip and shift it further back similar to oem then try it. I can't recall if it was possible since its been years but I think it wasn't possible.
The problem is with mikstores kit. Some people get lucky and maybe get as close as 1-2mm gap, it's due to the length of the clips. I've contacted mikstore about it but they basically ghosted me after a few emails.
