At some point I'll chop the tips on the borla, but I need to find some quality ss, double wall, slash cut, resonated tips that are equal in size and fit the borla pipe variety. Ark has some good tips, but because of their sizing I'd have to do an Fk8 style size (large, small, large).

Must they be resonated? If not, it would be super easy to find tips that fit the varying inlet sizes.

I agree! If I had a decent welder in my area that wasn't afraid of valved exhausts and triple tips I would have gone down the experimentation route myself.

so jeggs and summit have a crap ton of tips some need to be welded and some have to be clamped. But they have so many. I’m sure you’ll find something there.

I just really like the look of resonated since it takes up visual space and I find the oe and borla tips way oversized, so "something" needs to take up the space. I'm also hoping resonated will temper the pops and bangs a bit. First gear with a loud exhaust it's a bit embarrassing leaving a light .

I've checked jegs and summit. They have a million options, but none sized correctly that I've seen. Most of the 4" and 4.5" tips are way too long to fit the needed depth, and at those sizes they also get absurdly heavy. If I've overlooked something someone knows of, please do tell! I hope I'm wrong!!

Corsa so far has come the closest, but they're not resonated and for roughly 800$ in just tips, I'd want resonated.

I measured a while back but I don't recall exactly now. I believe it's 2.75" for the center and 2.25" for the outer.

Yes. Love the sound. Very distinctly "borla" and the startup sequence sounds mean.

Oh gotcha. I can see why finding tips is a pain in the ass. You’ll find em tho but at this point I’m gonna recommend one of those Chinese vendors. May take a while to get but a few of em that make the fake Remus and akropovich (spelling?) tips will allow U to choose diameter and length. U kinda can’t be picky at this point. I’m also not a fan of the borla tips either. It’s a “those tips are nice but not for me” kinda thing

You're in aurora? I'm out in Colorado twice per year usually (fairplay to Breck area). This coming year I'd like to make it out to high plains once, so if I can swing that maybe you can come out and hear it in person .

Another option could be to buy matching sets of 2.75" inlet (if you can find ones you like) or 3" inlet (easier to find) tips and then use reducer(s) to match them to the Borla outlets. That would allow you to really choose the tips you like the most.

That's a good point!

ARK has 4.5" tips with a 2.5" inlet and 4" with 3" inlet. There's not 4.5 with a 3". They're all weld on though, which is great!

So I could do 4.5 - 4.0 - 4.5, looking like an fk8
4.5 - 4.5 (with reduction from 2.75 to 2.5) - 4.5
4.0 - 4.0 - 4.0
Or I could just go "full jdm,yo" and mickey mouse this thing with a 3.5 - 4.5 - 3.5!

Or...maybe this is my opportunity to satisfy my ocd and just run 4.0 or 3.5 x 4 wide
