If U can correct roll center I think the dsc set up would have great advantages. I guess it’ll depend on the tune?
I agree with this. If you could actually change the pickup points on the subframe that would be ideal.

Total honesty, I've ruined several cars by lowering them. While I "felt faster" and initially had a better pace, that was largely due to the improved steering feedback of metal top mounts, at the expense of road harshness and noise of course. In most cases, a quality stock suspension on the right tire will be faster than typical coils. Once you start getting into high end coils and custom valving, the game totally changes. At that point you're spending dozens of hours on track to fine tune and as you improve one thing you hurt another. It's a tedious balancing act. The only real advantages of going lower are the lower center of gravity for turn in and aero over the wheels down the straights. It hurts air evac though, so fender louvres become more important to keep the brakes and tires from overheating.

Separately, I do agree my gti with dcc was sharper on brake and acceleration. I believe the softer under braking initially does allow for more forward weight transfer, more rotation, and more entry bite. The lift on accel isn't as great, I agree. Sure can stuff a lot more tire, though!

Don’t feel too bad. I too have ruined many cars with springs 😂

I jumped at Humza’s offer at trying out the SDI E-Click. Was debating between the DSC and the E-Click but after chatting with Humza and how easy it was to switch settings on the SDI I ordered the SDI unit.

Took a little over two hours to install with a friend and was able to mount the pod to the defogger grill. I ordered an extra defogger grill for $12 in case we had to drill into it but was able to transfer and reuse the FL5 mount. The pod is a bit canted at 11:00 towards the driver, but you can unscrew and adjust the pod to be centered.

Haven’t had much seat time yet since I have an appointment for an alignment tomorrow, but the car feels planted and firm on the twisty back roads.

Will report back after the alignment and more seat time.

Yes, it has the display pod. I enjoy watching it actively adapt to my inputs from turning to braking.

Still playing around with the settings and also the firmness levels on the RS-R coilovers.

Can you not have the pod though? Can you just disconnect it and it still works so it's more factory like?

You can place the display anywhere you like, the gauge pod isn't mandatory
