...it has anodized red washers instead of purple? I was really excited for these HRC parts, but the display was extremely disappointing. The vast majority of these parts are just readily available components produced by other companies (RV6, KW, Titan7, Acuity) with an HRC sticker on them. This was minimum-effort. It will be interesting to see where pricing lands, I guess, but I won't be shocked if you have to pay more for the Honda rebrand of something that's been on the market for months-years already.

I doubt there are any functional differences.

I was really looking forward to the release of the aero components but honestly, hard pass on all of these rebranded parts.

This really was as minimum-effort as possible. Crazy because it took what, over a year since they announced they'd be bringing parts to market? It took a year to slap on some different colors and stickers (maybe even engravings!!)?

Also don't get your hopes up for pricing. Someone over on the Civic forums noticed there's already an HRC-branded RV6 rear sway bar that's marked up $200:

RSB pricing is from the Touring section, so not available to public. Unclear how pricing for public parts will play out, but it's not a good sign.

I believe the brake lines on the Touring section of Dreamshop have heat shielding, so if they offer those, it might be worth it, and I'm not sure what Brembo offers already compared to the HRC BBK, either, as nobody seems to consider them for aftermarket options on these forums. After waiting excitedly for this line of parts for the last year, I was hugely disappointed.

I suppose you might get warranty support... but you'd also likely need to have the parts installed at your Acura dealer, and... yeah... 😬😬

No doubt there will be people who sign up for everything at the dealership (and probably pay a premium even over Dreamshop prices doing so), but for anyone paying attention, this is looking like a hard pass altogether.

The HRC parts are mostly rebranded with a higher price point.

You know there will always be that one guy that will be "full hrc build, because $ is no concern" who will eventually become the "why is no one offering me a premium price for my car" guy.

I like seeing the options at least, because you can then argue with the dealer when they try to tell you your warranty is void over a shifter install or sway bar...

So exactly like how NISMO and Infiniti performance parts are now. All the q50/60 parts are rebranded AMS parts.
