Installed a homelink mirror. It took less than an hour and works perfectly. Same frameless mirror just with buttons. I really have no idea why the car wouldn’t come with this mirror to begin with.

I used the video below which was right on.

Part numbers:
08V03-3A0-100
08V03-30A-100

One thing i have seen is a few guys stuffing the wire behind the A pillar without removing the trim. I think it’s very important to keep the wire away from the air bag and that requires removal of the trim which is probably the hardest part of the whole thing.

Got around to securing some side bolsters using a combination of Velcro straps and double sided tape. I might still get some custom upholstery or Fl5 seats in the future but we'll see if this works for now.

My observation is that Acura made these for a "wider" clientele. IMHO the seats would have been perfect if the bolstering was exactly the same size and shape, however it should have started where the Ultrasuede is on the lower half, up until where it tapers in.

Sitting in the Type R seats, I liked the back (for this reason) but hated the seat portion because it was too aggressive and narrow.

Does this contraption actually keep your body in place? I have a hard time believing Velcro and tension straps would keep body weight under centripetal force in place.

Contraption is to keep the two little side cushions in place. Mostly because the cushions would fly around every time I got in and out of the car.

Yeah it's much easier to undo the front since that badge isn't VHB taped on like the rear. I'll prob try it out tomorrow!

Here's a pic I found online of another car. Silver badge but still gives an idea.

My one concern is that it's a much larger badge so might be too much red. But like you said, easy to undo.
