Hey guys,
Does anyone else's driver seat squeaks annoyingly? I bought my Integra brand new in November of 2022. As of now, it only has about 7k miles on it. This is the 4th time my local dealership attempted to fix this. It's been ongoing since the beginning of my ownership. They probably had the car in the shop for 3-5 weeks collectively for all the repair attempts. I picked up the car yesterday and the shop manager said they reached out to Acura Tech Support for further help because they've done all they can at the local level. They replaced the seat bracket, took the seat out to have it recushioned, etc. prior. The manager said he needs their approval to change the seat out.
He called me today and said that Acura Tech Support stated this happens in other Integra's as well and deemed it as a 'characteristic' of the car. I am dumbfound because this has never happened in any of the cars I've owned prior...even my last Acura (TSX) was rock solid at almost 200k miles.
I'm 5'10" at 165 lbs, and the seat squeaks just from driving around town.
Here's the video I sent to the manager a couple of weeks ago. This was me just moving my body slightly while parked:
Update:
Just picked up the car today (6/16/25). Attaching what they replaced in case it would benefit other members. I’ve only driven 10 miles home so we will see if it will come back or not.
