Yeah. At around 11k miles now and still good. Good luck with that. I tried to have them replace the seat at some point and they said corporate had to approve it which they did not.
Update again. I picked up the car after two days of it in the shop. Attached are the parts they replaced.
I got the new ADX as a loaner. The interior is a nicer Integra. I think it will sell well given its size.
The service advisor said the tech went thorough with the repair this time and...
I am unsure of the parts, but will post up as I've done prior. This car is $3k from being paid off so I want to document everything while the warranty is active and it is still considered a new car.
The noise has been on the tamed side last week since we are approaching summer.
Thanks for your input. It seems to be dealership dependent. The last dealership I went to said they needed an approval to replace a seat. I am happy to see some of you guys are getting better treatment at your respective dealerships.
I am waiting for a big YouTuber to have this experience...
I’ve had maybe 10 cars so far in my life ranging from a beater to luxury car. I concur with you on this. The sample size is small here on this forum. If several members are having this issue in addition to me, I wonder how many others out there in the public are. Sadly, many will just accept...
After driving the car for less than a week, the issue is back. I’m taking it in on Monday. I hope no one else has the issue to this extent I am having.
It's not worth arguing, buddy. Ask for the manager's email and document your trails.
I sound like an old man yelling at the sky saying this but they don't make them like they used to. In the 2.5 years of having this car (with only 7k miles at that since I had a company car that I used for...
It does sound identical to mine. That is a crappy answer they gave you. I wonder how many more complaints it will take before they take action on the mass scale. We represent a small amount of Integra owners so I am sure others have this issue as well.
There is no way to drown out the sound...
Humidity is not a factor where I live. It’s gotten worse for me. Any movement from say turning the steering wheel to looking to the sides will trigger the noise. There is absolutely no way anyone can live with this.
I’m attaching this in case it helps you. Keep us updated!
Acura of Glendale. I've been going to them since 2010 with my TSX. Granted, that car was rock solid so I didn't come back to the dealership for many issues.
I went to Acura of Sherman Oaks today. The advisor said the technician who saw my car also has an Integra and became their 'resident'...
Thanks for the feedbacks, guys. I've owned 2 Honda's and 2 Acura's. I've always seen the brand in good light, but this has changed my view. I am taking the car to a different dealership tomorrow to see what they say.
I've changed the seating position, but it makes no difference at all.
Hey guys,
Does anyone else's driver seat squeaks annoyingly? I bought my Integra brand new in November of 2022. As of now, it only has about 7k miles on it. This is the 4th time my local dealership attempted to fix this. It's been ongoing since the beginning of my ownership. They probably...
Nice! The most I do is put it in sport mode to gas up on on-ramps when it’s clear. Aside from that it’s in comfort mode just easy driving for me. Maybe I’m not used to the car long term but it’s a bit tiring on a 150 mile drive. I took her on a road trip last weekend.
