Is all the cooling we’re talking about necessary for street driving?

Unless you live in the desert, definitely not.Is all the cooling we’re talking about necessary for street driving?
Still would completely upgrade the cooling system to be safeUnless you live in the desert, definitely not.
Street use the only heat issue I've seen is heat soaked intake causing lethargic throttle.
Depends how you define "safe" and to what end.Still would completely upgrade the cooling system to be safe
1000% agree, especially on this platform.Depends how you define "safe" and to what end.
Modern cars are designed to run a little warmer and these days with how stable synthetic oils are, cars are meant to run higher temps. Many synth oils can run stable up to 325F and it's preferable to do so with a thinner oil with tighter tolerances. Higher coolant/engine temps also help with cleanliness of the combustion cycle and soot buildup on DI engines.
Every mod has a give and take. The OEMs spend millions to billions designing vehicles to work as a system in their given conditions. That's generally the "safest".
As @optronix and @Victorofhavoc have mentioned, most owners will not consistently reach the limits of the OEM hardware. It’s best to upgrade when you identify a “crutch” in the system. Otherwise you’re just wasting your money for parts you’ll never see the full potential of.Still would completely upgrade the cooling system to be safe
I know, just enjoy the building process, esp as I want to add a little flash to it after seeing this at a showAs @optronix and @Victorofhavoc have mentioned, most owners will not consistently reach the limits of the OEM hardware. At the end of the day, the car is safe as it comes from factory unless it becomes a dedicated track car.
