I did something similar, but just the lower portion with this grill material

so yes, I had to remove the bumper. It's not too bad if you have a helper.
I plan on installing some mesh too after seeing how large the opening is for the intercooler. (it also gives me another reason to take my bumper off as I have one final black Acura emblem waiting to be installed). Did you use the instructions from one of the accessories installation guides? I'll be doing this project on my own, any particular tips or pointers?

I was looking on Amazon at "Agg Auto" brand of mesh, how did you decide to go with this brand of mesh? What length of mesh did you purchase? I originally was planning to use plastic zip ties and did not know about those metal ones--are there any special tools needed?

I watched these two videos: & in addition to reading the accessories installation guides. It was fairly straightforward. I jacked the front of the car up so I could support the bottom of the bumper on a 5 gallon bucket while removing the button fasteners along the hood line. It's helpful to have another person help you carry it once it's loose, but one person can do it alone if needed.

I use the referenced grill mesh on my S2000 and am very happy with it. It's 81% open area, which is quite high and is much more sturdy than screen-type mesh - it's actually punched from a 1/16" thick sheet of aluminum and comes in a flat cardboard box, not rolled up in a tube. The 6" x 36" size is just barely big enough (in the 6" direction) to bend a 3/8" wide flange along the bottom for additional stiffness.

I use plastic zip ties on the S2000 because it's easy to access both sides of the grill, but with the ITS if one should break it's off with the bumper again to fix it. Plan to waste a few of the metal zip ties experimenting with how they behave. I pre-bent them to almost their finished shape before installing them. This tool (or equivalent) is useful for tightening and cutting them, but not really necessary. The included "release tool" doesn't work that well. I found that a pointy (#11) Xacto blade works better to release a zip tie - something to experiment with before doing your final installation.

In CGI land at a stoplight today a new Mercedes E63S with paper tags was next to me. After catching the driver off guard and making it to the golden second gear still ahead I was certain nothing could beat a vehicle that pulls nearly as hard as a BMW M2. In only a few seconds I was proven wrong as it blew past me several car lengths. My driver mod attempts proved futile and there was no chance of redemption. The real travesty here is I didn't get a chance to catch up to provide any lame duck excuses for the embarrassing loss or explain how my FICO score is probably higher than theirs. Next time.
lmmfao...the ITS is not fast, i.e, my vanity plate is "ITSSLOW"...Great daily...for the stop lights wars I use the Nissan....jmho...depending on the year E63S 0-60 is less than 4 seconds...so

It’s from a company called synth carbon , the carbon by the Ac is for 11th gen civic and I just cut the part out by the heated seat so it didn’t go over it .

ITS is so much lighter i'm surprised you didn't take the W. take out the spare tire, add a tune, then go hunt for him again.. lol

a guy at my kid's school has one with plate "HAMR WGN" pretty boss imo.. i would love an E63 wagon or RS6 avant as a 5th car someday, but as much as i love those big fast things, they tend to bore me with normal commuting... closest I had was a '16 M6 gran coupe competition. the top end was nutty.. 80-140 was shockingly quick ... and fast ... and an easy way to get arrested so i got rid of it lol. fast cars driven slow .. boring.

Did this last fall and forgot to post... Added protection for the radiator and intercooler.

In real life, it is almost not visible. Should've used black ty-raps instead of white, but didn't had them when I did this. But again, barely visible in real life.
