At the Corvette owner's school this morning and thinking about this thread when the Blackwings rolled out. These are the 5's, but even the 4's are another price point vs the ITS.
Like this track edition that I test drove earlier today, MSRP is $88K

wasn’t a bad car, I can appreciate it, but not for me. ITS all the way

BTW, the rear lip spoiler on this thing was impressive

You could launch carrier aircraft from that rear spoiler. Thank god it’s optional.

I tried out a BW ct4 a couple of weeks ago & really loved the looks, power, sound, sunroof, the ventilated seats & the well planted ride around turns with the magnetic suspension.. But there were a few negatives that for me though put the ITS ahead.. High price, low gas mileage, front seating although very comfortable felt a little cramped compared to the ITS along with noticeably lack of back seat leg room & lower cargo space because of no liftback. Sweet car though.. Lol

Looks being subjective, this looks ugly as hell.
Agreed. I've owned plenty of GMs and the CT4 BW looks awful. Proportions are terrible especially the rear three quarters and trunk. Looks like they tried to slap on a new front and rear using the previous gen doors.

I’m hoping they send off the CT4 Blackwing with a normally aspirated V8.

But Even if they did, it would be marked up to $100k. 😞

If your wanting a NA V8 I would go with the Lexus IS500. Luxury and reliability can't be beat.

True. Also missing a hatch. Just loaded some furniture in mine today. Box was a little over 80" long and she fit like a glove

I love those, my top pick of non manuals. I need to test drive one to see if it’s fun enough without a manual.

Id get an Alfa but nearest dealership back home is 45-60 min drive depending on traffic.

I'll save you the effort and tell you straight up it's not. If you want a manual, get a manual. There is a very, very high chance of buyer's remorse setting in. It's not guaranteed, we're all different after all- but bouncing back and forth between manual and DCT/auto has lost me over $50k in the past 5 years...

There is a certain element of fun under specific circumstances- pretty much track driving if you're chasing lap times, auto reigns supreme. You will quickly forget about how fun and engaging a manual is when you're legit competing for top spot in your class or even FTD.... until you're on the way home and hit a nice stretch of twisty road.

The only clear solution is to have both.

I always bought manual cause it makes boring drives more involving. Whenever I test drove a car in both versions, like the GTI, I preferred the manual. If both are available it’s a no brainer but when only auto it’s a more difficult choice.

I’m driving my first auto in Taiwan cause the only manual Focus here is the $49k Focus ST. 😮 I like the Focus ST-Line better than my 2017 6mT hatch, so it’s not always manual wins.
