I contacted PRL to see if they were planning any specific parts or if current FL5 parts where interchangeable.
here is the response I got.. Anyone tried interchanging the downpipe/intercooler or intake??

Good Afternoon,

Thanks for reaching out, in theory everything should fit but we haven't confirmed fitment of FL5 parts on the Type S nor do we have parts in development at the moment
Thank You,
Dylan T.

I know the intercooler fits. What other parts were you curious about?

If you look at the Integra Type S Racer at Pikes, you can a PRL intercooler. I mean isn't that a missed opportunity Marketing wise or maybe Dylan isn't aware

Everything you mentioned is fine to install on the DE5. Just note for the Downpipe you will need to order the TSP version instead as PRL no longer produces it (TSP bought their design to replicate).

I am interested to see someone installing the PRL intercooler though. I know for the FL5 you have to remove some of the air guides, hopefully that doesn't dramatically impact aero.

I believe the FL5 stage 1 intake can also be used on the DE5. I have one in order but won’t be available until Aug 11.

I did have to remove the air guides when installing the PRL Intercooler. The new Intercooler fills the opening edge to edge so I’m not sure there’s a big loss.

How's the drive with the new intercooler?

Drives great. I have the TSP downpipe and PRL front pipe going on next. Should be even more exciting once it exhaling as well as it’s inhaling.

Awesome. I hope to get mine on in a week or so.
You'll probably beat me too it so post some sound clips if there is a change.

@Trajectory009

Thank you VERY much for the post and PICS... not many pics online that will show me exactly what my TEP will look like.
what method did you use to blacken the integra embossing on the bumper?? Looks super tight!
