Also, there may be DE5/FL5 chat groups for your area. This is one of the ways you can learn about car meet events at your city.
This was at the Hondata Jailbreak event today in GA. There were 3 Apex Blue and two whites. There was an LCM but was lining up to get the ECU unlocked. No TEP or Lunar Silver.
On the last CivicX event, Honda Pro Jason joined us for lunch. He drove all the way to NC from CA after meeting with Honda team there. He also confirmed that the new Prelude will be built on the FL5 platform. Nothing else was shared but even that made all of us excited.
I have heard the same thing, and I think it has been discussed in this board some time ago. I still installed one because I liked how it looked and honestly I could not tell the difference driving it before and after.
Also, I installed the 27Won strut bar and also installed their brake brace...
My first time there and I did not know what to expect. But it was a blast. Met a lot of great people and will be sure to come back next year. Great ITS presence there too.
First, I saw an ITS at the CivicX event last weekend that had GruppeM intake and it fit perfectly. It was beautiful!
Second, I spoke to Honda Pro Jason and he mentioned that PRL is planning to manufacture a limited number (I think 500 units) of carbon fiber intake at $1,300 each. I do not have...
I flashed mine with Hondata for a couple of days and then flashed it with Phearable tune after that. My car was stocked at that time. I could feel the difference with Hondata, but honestly the Phearable tune was way better and more aggressive. The car felt alive after the tune. Third and fourth...
Just got back from the CivicX event at the Tail of the Dragon. Great driving and the car held extremely well on those twisty roads. I was on third gear most of the last run and every time I pushed it, the car delivered. Met other owners of ITS. There were 9 ITS but we were missing Apex Blue...
Funny that with my driving habits as I always put it to Sport +, I never get better than 22mpg. Today is the first time I drove more than3 hours with the car and I put it on Comfort and Plus more, and I got 24.9mpg. My personal best!
Same here. Seems the oil drain faster when on the incline with the ramps. Very easy and straightforward to do. The only gripe I have is the dipstick is so hard to check with new fresh oil. Other than that it is a breeze.
So I used their online calculators and bought the RR-XT-2 67". But I did not take into account the plastic ledge on the front of the car (you cannot see it unless you look down). So the ramps did not work unless I bought the extenders, which is the RR-EX-14. So I spent more money than I needed...
This is just my experience so please anyone chime in. I looked at ramps from Amazon but none were wide enough and had the low clearance for the ITS. The only one that would work is Race Ramps and also using their extenders since I lowered the ITS. While they are more expensive, I thought the...
Thank you for the explanation and completely agree with the risks. I currently use Race Ramps to raise the car. Although I have never raise both front and rear, I will plan to do that soon. My plan is to use the ramps for the front, jack the rear and use the jack stands, but still have the jack...
I think you have add the tune to make them worthwhile. I added the tune but since then added the PRL intercoler and soon the PRL HVI. I will re-tune it after the HVI installation.
