Just installed this beautiful steering wheel from Crismo and absolutely love how it lights up the cabin.

Sharing some pictures during installation. Some notes:
- BEFORE you disconnect the battery, start the car and try your best to center the steering wheel as much as possible.
(I didn't do this and the steering wheel was slightly tilted to the right, had to ensure the new steering wheel is tilted the same when installing it)
- The center nut (10mm hex) has blue loctite. I needed a breaker bar to losen it. Also needed to clean the nut thoroughly before reinstallation
- Torque spec for the nut: 39 ft-lb (from google search)

Nice! I have the same one. Huge improvement over the OEM steering wheel.

I have one ready to go in but haven't installed yet. Nervous about blowing the airbag or screwing up the wiring harness. Pretty simple though? Curious how long it took you change out the airbag/buttons and install.

I'm on the ASpec - got the signature perforated leather with matte carbon trim and the magnetic paddle shifters. Actually went with white-label paddle shifters (boposs) instead of carismo since they seem identical.

Even if you do this, bring a Sharpie with you. Once you remove the nut, but before you remove the OEM wheel, you should be able to mark the spline(s) at TDC, making it much easier to line up the new wheel.

I'd say the installation is quite chill, took me about 1 hr from start to finish.

Disconnect the battery and wait for a good 20 mins for everything to be fully discharged, then you can poke the airbag off w/o no problem. You'll probably need a breaker bar since the center nut is pretty tight, and has loctite.

After than, just follow the YT videos for transferring the trim and buttons.

Thanks for the advice. The splines are pretty fine tho, definitely thinner than a marker/sharpie tip.

If you get it wrong by even one spline, you'll know right away when you drive the car and the steering wheel is cocked to one side. Easy to resolve. Do it :)

Got it installed yesterday - thanks for the tips! Carbon trim was a little more snug and i had to arrange the wiring a little different. Took me about 2.5 hrs.

The magnetic paddle shifters had larger harness clips that I had to feed up by the ribbon harness instead of leaving it below the steering wheel button harness clips.

Side note - the boposs paddle shifters off alli express were legit white-label quality. $130 vs $340 (carismo) for most likely the same item.
