Good to hear, I was in talks with their internet sales team and they stopped responding to my simple questions. I’ll go in and press reset to see what happens.

The communication from them was awful through the whole process. In person was the only way I didn't have to force it. Looks like you're in the same state so the sales tax debacle I went through shouldn't affect you so that's a plus.

I'm assuming (at least at the time) the communication was so bad due to low inventory/high demand. At the time their new inventory consisted of 2x integra (1 after I left), 1x rdx, 1x mdx, 1x nsx, 1x tsx.

I actually live near them and would love to do business and continue service with a home dealer for the convenience/fake loyalty factor. After buying my last ordered car out of town for my Golf R the local dealer never was what I expected. This is all meaningless these days but a boy can dream. After reading more on others situations and opinions, I may hold off until demand cools down. We all know this is the last manual gas powered ”hot hatch” that we will get, but we don’t want to admit it. ?

they tried to sell me the lcm/red cancellation at msrp but said 3000$ in accessories is mandatory.

Personally I think the accessories don't count as ADM. You are at least getting something of value. An ADM by definition is paying an overage for "market adjustment", which equates to nothing of actual value other than the privilege of buying a car.

You could argue that mandatory "add-ons" like ceramic coating or "lojack" are also a rip off because no one should intentionally be made to pay a bloated amount for something they don't want.

Dealers ordering inventory loaded with options that you're stuck with is nothing new, and definitely not limited to the ITS. Some dealers may be charging excessive markups on the accessories themselves... but still tough for me to quantify that as an ADM.
