Seems for now that I have to tap out on this issue. It’s definitely that the window is moving too much from road imperfections, which causes it to keep pressing on the run channel and making noise. I can’t seem to find anything myself indicating why the window moves more than it likely should, so I’ll have to ask the dealership again when it’s in next to check all of it.

it’s annoying…but I love how the car drives so damn much that eventually I’ll figure it out. Maybe over the winter I can take the assembly apart.

Fwiw, after mine was lubed it was good for one road trip and seemed to get worse after using the washer fluid. I had the dealer take a look and they just returned the car. I told them it was the window specifically and how to replicate on 3 of the 4 doors. They did something and it seems better now, but I had to press the rear driver seal up a bit since it slipped (from either them or my kid). It's not totally gone, but it's wayyyy better. Better to the point it's not noticeable unless volume is off.

We'll see how long it lasts...

If you can find out what they did so I can have mine replicate that would be fantastic. I’d even take better at this point if we can’t get “solved.”

Had a bit of a revelation today. I've had an annoying rattle from the area of my drivers door for several months. Today I finally broke down and took the panel off to try to find the source. After much searching, i finally figured out the door harness connector to the exterior door handle (the smart key sensor) was hanging loose inside and could easily be the cause of my noise. It does have a clip to attach it to the door that would make it snug, but the clip was detached for some reason, probably from the factory as I had never accessed that area.

To be clear the harness was attached to the handle so my keys worked fine, but simply hanging loose. Weirdly there was a second clip attached to the hole where the harness connector clip is supposed to go. I guess someone at the factory was asleep that day.

I am talking about the black connector inside the door connecting to the exterior door handle. You have to peel back the upper left portion of the door liner to access this area. If your window is down you won't be able to reach it.

After a year and a half of ownership, I think I have finally narrowed down the noise I hear to the weatherstrip on the body. When the window is up everything is pressed tighter and I can hear the clicks/rattles from it not sitting properly. When the window is down and the tension on it is released there is no noise.

Going to see if I can get the dealer to replace it. But if not, it’s inexpensive and I will just do it myself.

Just a heads up for anyone chasing noises in that area. Check the weatherstrip!

Mine is the same. My issue is the window motor doesn't provide enough tension at the top so it clicks a ton. Dealer called it "normal" 😑

Well that’s not encouraging. The noise being right in my ear is beyond annoying. I’ll report back once I get my dealer to look at it as well.

My driver's side window rattles only when rolled down partially. All the way down or all the way up it will not rattle.

It also has the auto-up reverse issue that a lot of people have (when trying to roll it up with the auto up it will activate the pinch guard and roll back down even though there is nothing in the way).

You can try a relearn. Put it into acc mode, hold down until it goes all the way down and continue to hold for 3 seconds. Then hold up all the way up and another 3 sec. Then down, then back up, 3sec each time. For Bosch ecu this typically resets the position system. This has worked on all my German cars and a Ford I've dealt with. Hopefully it works the same to teach a relearn on the Honda Bosch setup.

I will try this and see if I have any luck. Thanks!

Any update? Seems like my passenger window is rattling and it's driving me nuts.. Trying to figure out a fix.
