  1. Driver seat bad creaking- Dealer said “normal”

The creaking/squeaky seats are very common. One of the build quality issues to lookout for.
  2. Steering Wheel Stick After Startup

Curious if anyone else is experiencing this. My '23 ITS has a strange quirk: After every vehicle startup, the steering wheel upon first movement almost feels like it sticks, makes a clunking noise, and then as it "breaks free" of whatever was sticking, everything is normal. It happens literally...
  3. Is an Extended Warranty Worth It on a 2023 Acura Integra?

Very unlikely to run into anything worrisome until after six figure mileage. Honda/Acura is in the top tier of reliability. Put the $5k aside into a savings account and gain a few cents of interest on it.
  4. New Matchbox Moving Parts Integra Type S HRC model coming out soon

eBay has a couple of these for around $20 (plus shipping). Maybe one less if my offer is accepted by the seller.
  5. Front Splitter or Scrape Guard Protector options?

Love the idea of that ScrapeGuard product. Pricey, but good peace of mind.
  6. DE5 will be exported to Japan

I didn't watch the video because I can't stand Kirk's voice and lazy click-along videos, but I highly doubt the DE5 will make it to Japan. But if it did it would be great for aftermarket parts potential!
  7. FS: NIB Spoon Sports Air Cleaner

I'll take it for $200 if you're willing to discount. Can also pickup from you locally (I'll probably be making a trip down to SD in a couple weeks).
  8. Steering wheel shimmy/alignment at start and stop no longer working?

I sometimes get the shake, just depends on wheel angle and where/how I'm parked. Don't really notice it though, and it seems to be normal behavior. Sort of related, one thing I have noticed recently on startup, after the shimmy/shake noise, when I touch the steering wheel and provide input...
  9. Poll: Do you leave it in gear when you park your Type S?

Leaving a vehicle in neutral while parked just seems counterintuitive. Never understand why people don't leave it in gear, especially if there is any kind of incline.
  10. My 25 ITS

Those wheels on your Bimmer look great! What are they?
  11. ITS Drivers Window Rattle/Noise

I will try this and see if I have any luck. Thanks!
  12. ITS Drivers Window Rattle/Noise

My driver's side window rattles only when rolled down partially. All the way down or all the way up it will not rattle. It also has the auto-up reverse issue that a lot of people have (when trying to roll it up with the auto up it will activate the pinch guard and roll back down even though...
  13. G80 M3 to Type S what do you think?

I came from an Audi S5 Coupe. The Type S is a significantly more fun car, and it never gets old. I miss some of the luxuries and build quality of my Audi, but the driving experience more than makes up for any shortcomings the vehicle has in regards to niceties.
  14. Center Console Facelift w/ VViVid honeycomb pattern wrap and Acuity Poco shift knob

Best looking wrap for the piano black that I've seen yet. I've been putting off wrapping it because I haven't found anything I like, but I think this is it. Nice choice.
  15. light drizzle messing up driver assist systems??

Rain is rare here, but when there is dense fog this happens to me.
  16. First Nighttime drive in the ITS

They are pretty good; one of the better ones of all the cars I've ever had. Although my last car was an Audi S5 coupe and I'd say it had slightly better LED headlights that were also self leveling with a cornering light.
  17. Alcantara Wrapped OEM Center Console

So am I. :headbang: I'll give it some thought. $300 is a lot at the moment--so much money going out lately, gotta see if it's in the budget. o_O
  18. Alcantara Wrapped OEM Center Console

I've kinda been on the fence about getting this. Then realizing if I do, I'll probably want the Alcantara armrest too, and so on and so on. :D Just curious, but what didn't you like about it or what made you change your mind? Where in OC are you?
  19. TuxMats Good Choice?

My car came with the OEM rubber mats, but I had TuxMats on my last car. The quality is miles above pretty much anything else (especially WeatherTech). Now I don't really care because it barely rains where I live now. Summer tires, carpet mats year round.
  20. New shift knob install

There's a couple good how-to's on YouTube. The main thing to remember when taking off the shift boot is to pull straight down on the ring/clamp and it will come off fairly easy. It tends to give a hard time and can break if you move it side to side while trying to pull it off (down).
