Ok initial research is, as usual with DSP manufacturers, a bit conflicting.

JL calls their compatible remote controller (the DRC-205) a "digital" remote controller which in theory wouldn't work with my device but I think JL might be using some liberties with the naming conventions.

If I had an amp to test I could definitively figure it out. Even better if I had an amp and a DRC-205.

like these? lol, I’ll send a message and we can work something out. I used the knob more for cycling tunes but it can control both “volume” and fade. The volume acted more of a remote gain, if that’s the correct term. I used it to turn the bass down when I wanted mainly.

:)

The second piece you want to have as a feature in the DSP's software is signal ducking. What that means is if a signal is "heard" on Input A, it attenuates Input B until that signal goes away. This is how you will integrate chimes, nav voice, and phone calls back into the system.

I'm having trouble finding that feature in the Tun software I just downloaded, but I'm still looking.

That functionality was retained on my previous build (2024 tundra) all speakers were off the amps so there were no random speakers left to receive signal for things like chimes/vehicle alerts/waze navigation/etc didn’t come in blaring. No clue on the wizardry it took for that to be accomplished though

I think I'm seeing the limitation in the Tun/JL workflow. I don't think it allows mixing of digital and analog signals into the same virtual channel. If that's true, it's a real bummer.

This just in. I just finished testing my device on Helix DSPs. This means that now both Arc Audio and Helix DSPs are certified to work with the PURE Integrator!

It does not look like Audison DSPs are going to be compatible at this point, as they seem to use a proprietary digital protocol for their remote control ports.

I am updating my website to list out all the system planning "facts" you need to know to successfully implement PURE. Coming VERY soon.

MAJOR UPDATE: First production run parts arrive next week! Assembly will take a couple days at most.

I'm finalizing the user documentation this week in preparation for that. Would love feedback so I will post some of the content here.

Thanks for your patience everyone who has followed this journey since the beginning!

Continuing to build out the website (which is now live, by the way) and one of the areas I am going to be creating a lot of content for is "education" in the form of images, diagrams, FAQs, user manuals, etc.

Here's a taste. Would appreciate feedback of any kind!

Folks, I'd love some feedback on what questions you have and expect others to have if they are considering the PURE integrator. I started a skeleton FAQ, pasted below:

Seems to be fairly comprehensive in terms of FAQ and covers pretty much all I had questions about.
