This absolutely sucks to even hear about. I can’t even imagine the pain. This is part of the reason one of my cars is a garage queen. I’m deathly afraid of other drivers and my exact spec would be hard to replace.

I share the pain in a little different way. I also got slammed into by someone totaling my car. I was in a 08 Audi S5 which I had up to 113K miles. She was my baby in pristine condition but on Jan 20th it got taken out. :/

I refuse to drive anything but a manual so somehow life turned me to the Type S. I'm excited for a very different kinda ride, but a big part of me (as silly as it seems) is almost still in mourning for my Audi haha.

I hope your next ride brings you as much joy as the Acura did; as I'm hoping mine now will bring me that same kinda joy.

I’m sorry for your loss.

There was one in Tampa for sale with Orchid interiors. Extremely rare combo but it is gone.

This is my last sports car for sure. Not a fan of the anxiety of scratching my wheels, avoiding road debris, high costs, etc.

Sorry for your loss man. At least you are OK. It sucks, I know. I have lost a few myself. Look at it this way the 26' ITS had a bigger touchscreen :)

I’m so sorry to hear that:( I’m glad you’re okay and I hope you get a fair payout to go towards your next car

Genuinely appreciate all the support here. The other party's insurance came back with a lowball as I kind of expected. I've requested a re-evaluation based on some errors and inconsistencies with their assessment. We'll see.

On the bright side, I landed on a 26 PRP as the replacement and pending the outcome of the settlement I should have it in my garage in a week or so!

I'm happy to report that my request for a re-evaluation paid off. I was able to provide pictures to prove condition prior to the accident as well as autotrader ads that demonstrated higher market values than their examples. I was able to get almost $5k more than their original base valuation. Thanks again for tuning in to my saga. I'll be sure to post the new ride once I get her home.
