Having the hot side of the turbo on the other side (American passenger side) would’ve made routing the dp and exhaust under the motor a pain in the ass maybe? I’m just guessing
I think this intake will probably provide the coldest temps possible (at the maf) however does that really matter? The intercooler should be able to scrub temp increases, even from an open element hot air intake.
if tracking. Sure. Stress the intercooler without adding an extra temp load from the intake. I guess. If on stock turbo, on a premium fuel ots tune but with an upgraded intercooler. Even if tracking, I can’t see the advantage tbh

I’m not even gonna get into the weeds when it comes to the cats that foil wrap their intake piping. Cuz frankly that shit not only works but works very well.
not saying this intake is worthless. Just kinda niche. Good to have options tho. The child in me is pleased with the louder wooshy sounds
