Now to just figure out the jumper part. I get what you mean but getting the wire to stay in place is the trick. Do you have a picture of it?
Question, how did you get on this trial. Type S does not have Acura Link unfortunately, am I missing something here? Thanks!I didn’t feel like going this route so I am on the acuralink/myQ trial and actually like it. If you pay for 5 years up front the math comes out to something like $2.xx a month. I hate subscriptions but I don’t mind $2 a month. When getting within about 150 feet of my house a notification pops up on Apple CarPlay and can simply click to open. Just throwing up another option for those who don’t want to frankenmirror![]()

It's been solid for a few months for me now. Worst case scenario you can always buy a replacement harness if something were to go wrong, but I highly doubt that would happen.Looking to do the jumper method since that seems to be the easiest and also reversible method. Any potential issues with this method over time?
