Accord Homelink Mirror

I purchased a mirror from a recycler, it was from a 2024 Civic type R. It had like 1,500 miles on it and the rearend was crushed. It was shipped from PA and took about 5 days to get. I modified the wiring as others have done. Soldering the red and yellow wires. It worked like a charm.

I know this thread is old, but I needed to figure out homelink for another application in another car. While researching, I found this: Gentex GENHLBP1 Wireless Homelink Garage Door Opener for ATV UTV Tractor Golf Cart Motorcycle - Amazon.com -- it is an all in one homelink unit that is battery operated, requiring no wiring.

It looks like you might be able to put it in one of the blank slots to the left of the traction control button. Just wanted to throw out another option for folks to consider.

If folks are interested, I'll let y'all know how it works after install and some testing.

I didn’t feel like going this route so I am on the acuralink/myQ trial and actually like it. If you pay for 5 years up front the math comes out to something like $2.xx a month. I hate subscriptions but I don’t mind $2 a month. When getting within about 150 feet of my house a notification pops up on Apple CarPlay and can simply click to open. Just throwing up another option for those who don’t want to frankenmirror

We tried it and didn't care for it. I didn't test what happens if the WIFI is not working. My wife left without her phone, and she couldn't use it. Anyway, to each his own if it works for you that is awesome.

it's been working quite well for me, but i also ended up doing the accord franken-mirror today and will likely cancel the subscription if the mirror works well for the next few weeks without problems.
