- Reinstall my down-pipe heat shield. I had it powder-coated in a hi-temp semi-gloss black finish

Installed the PRL turbo inlet assembly. Haven’t driven the car yet, but it does sound more throaty.

Tried a couple of the SS bolts and red anodized collets from the DownStar kit on the hard coolant line and they threaded in perfectly.

Also reinstalled the freshly powder-coated heat shield.

Finally, sent some interior pieces off to Aaron Shin to get the Sweidit treatment. Should have everything back next week.

Had Aaron at Sweidit reupholster my center armrest and visors. Also installed the Homelink mirror.

My wife and I have an indoor showcase car show tomorrow afternoon. I’ll post more pics later.

little install weekend. Swapped out the OEM coolant reservoir for the anodized red PRL tank. Also found these neck support Recaro pillows on Amazon for $25.00…how could I not buy them at that price.

Awaiting the arrival of my Apexi N1 Evo cat-back exhaust. I have the PRL front-pipe that I’ll be installing at the same time.

Installed the PRL front-pipe and Apexi Evo N1 cat-back to complete the full 3" turbo-back exhaust system. The Type-S now has a very deep exhaust tone and the pops & bangs also have a deeper tone opposed to the OEM snap & crackle. Under load and with the flap open, the car will definitely turn some heads.

I think I'm done for this year. Next spring will most likely be; wheels, springs, turbo swap, dyno / data logging and completing the interior.

What is that longer pipe on the bottom? I havent seen that before? I know the smaller one is the PRL. Also I love that PRL CF pipe that goes across where the turbo is, I have only ever seen the titanium one.

That is just the OEM turbo inlet assembly with the flat heat sink. I was showing the difference in diameter at the bend piece.
