Nice, I want to do that too, I dont have my car yet, but Im wanting that Double Apex Blue color. I have been planning and researching for a few months now, I want to get something with more room than my 2022 MINI Cooper S.
Agreed, my 2022 MINI Cooper S, can change all the ambient lighting to whatever color I want, and each mode had unique colors that all match up with the ambient lighting and on screen colors based on the mode you are in. So if BMW can do it why not Honda/Acura?
I did test drive a 2026 Aspec Tech but it was during the day, so I couldnt see the ambient lighting but I did see in the individual setting the ability to choose what color the instrument cluster would be. Like how the default for comfort is blue and for sport its red, and usually for individual...
I did some internet searching, and it says that with the Tech package you get customizable colors, and that the ambient lighting matches the mode your in (sport, comfort, individual).
Yes a few people on the FB group have done the front lip pieces. Apparently its a pain because you have to remove the front bumper, and there are 6 clips AND 6 screws. Luckily on the inside of the bumper the place where they go is already marked.
What is that longer pipe on the bottom? I havent seen that before? I know the smaller one is the PRL. Also I love that PRL CF pipe that goes across where the turbo is, I have only ever seen the titanium one.
Yeah my MINI Cooper S (BMW) Wireless Carplay, the only way to change a particular volume is when that volume is active. So like my GPS for example can only be changed in volume when it is actually speaking the directions. But once I catch it and turn it up or down it stays there. So its like...
"- Amenities, lack of. No memory seats between two frequent drivers gets old quickly. No rear air vents. No Homelink."
Kinda suprising because the Aspec Tech Integra has memory seat function for 2 people, but it also has other things the Type S doesnt like a sunroof, and a 3rd seatbelt/space in...
Yeah it is very weird to have it there in the middle of the spokes, my MINI Cooper S (which is really a BMW) has it on the left side of the steering column below the tilt lever. It fine there cause it is out of the way. But if you didnt know it had the option you would probably not notice it was...
Ive thought about doing this as well, since alot of Type S owners ditch their wheels, I love the bronze/copper colored ones, and think they would look awesome on the Apex Blue.
