Which codes are you getting? I didnt have any sensor issues on this install, but did run into some boost leak i had to fix.

The only sensors should be on the hardpipe except for that one little one by the intercooler outlet, and i could be wrong, but thinking that one is just for external air temp? Might save ya a bumper pull.

Love mine - tested about 20 mins of spirited driving the other day. Finished with ECT 195, trans temp 190 (crept up to 195 then leveled), and iat2 at 87. I have the reverse flow radiator hoses in as well.

im getting brake system, low speed braking, and parking sensor codes.

now that I think about it.. I dont think I put the temp sensor back into the little bracket 💀... I was exhausted and was rushing to put everything back on 😭

im fine with taking off the bumper, I was gonna put the tap in screws for the lip anyways. it'll probably be easier with the bumper off.

im excited to see the results!! im hoping to get the tune in before my semester starts, but installing the tune SHOULD be the easiest part of the whole process. fingers crossed lol

You'll have no problem with the tune, super easy

Christmas lights after install, in my experience, is forgetting to plug something back in. Have done it twice with the MAF sensor and once with the throttle pedal sensor.

If it happens again in the future/once you have the ktuner, you can just reflash the tune instead of going through drive cycles to clear all of those lights. After plugging the sensor back in, of course.

reconnected the sensors properly, everything went well.

installed the tune, and unfortunately found out that i'm stuck with map 3 as my ECU doesn't support map switching... so.. that sucks. sorta. the 20-24psi lbs of boost is pretty freakin sweet. but i'm worried about clutch slippage and most definitely worried about head lifting and head gasket issues. good news is that i don't smell any clutch burns, and there's no slippage during the pulls that I did. also the ECU seems to be capping it at 20-21 psi, with it only hitting 24 psi once during the handful of times I did test pulls.

no hesitation in throttle acceleration, and no weird idling, so it feels good knowing i've successfully gapped the spark plugs correctly. (.025, although Ktuner suggests .026)

for anyone wondering if there is a difference between map 3 Phearable and stock tune - yes, most definitely. it pulls way harder, and accelerates noticeably faster, too. can definitely get in trouble on the streets if you're not careful. noticeable amounts of torque steer, which may be a turn off, but I don't mind. PRL RMM keeps the power down very well.

powerband is way more linear, pulling towards redline which is extremely addicting (reminds me of the old K-Series). turbo seems to be louder, maybe? could be placebo, but I wouldn't be surprised if it did cus MORE BOOST!!!

IAT's are wonderful. Intercooler does the job incredibly well keeping it at 87-89 degrees during pulls.

no knock, no misfires. happy with the results.

onto suspension!
