I’ve noticed the PRL RMM did much better with the oem wheels/tires than the DWS06+ in 18’s. I’m hoping it’s due to the cold also, but will be able to tell better in a month or two.
Definitely! Map 2 is reduced boost in first & second & pretty appropriate for most situations. Map 1 is a lot more fun as long as one is concentrating on their footwork as they should. I don’t think I’ll use it until input summer tires or the oem setup back on next month or 2. I haven’t really...
I agree. I’m 100% ok with losing. ? However, 380whp/390tq is getting at least a tad closer to a nice power weight ratio. I know you could care less about some of these mods & tuning (especially the turbo upgrades ?), but it will be fun in the future to have street & track maps to at least be...
Some awesome analogies from those who have driven much nicer cars than I could afford in the past! I appreciate this input probably the most on this forum. I already pretty much knew I wanted this car over anything else, but it were these points in general that made me better about my purchase...
Before we got hers originally, we did test drive a 2020 RT version and I tried to convince her then to get it over the V6 to no avail. She did change her mind later, of course LOL At the time, there was only like a 3K difference. I do like the newer revision that has better headlights, the UC5...
? I wish! They actually said a VIN was required. ? I do still plan a using them & eventually racing them. I will build in an attempt to win but I’m 100% ok with losing to anything & just there for the fun & experience - whether street or track. I’ll have to look into Chin & HOD - I’m not...
Holy cow, I never would’ve thought 30k to be high mileage ? I will look into BMW - especially for the driving school/seminars! At first I thought maybe my future instructor/family friend might sponsor me, but he may have gotten rid of his Porsche’s to enter the Shelby world from what I’m hearing...
It was one of favorites at the auto show for sure. A friend brought up another good point on the standard Wagoneer that’s hurricane engine equipped. I test drove a Grand Wagoneer II & was blown away but it wasn’t in the cards at the time. With my budget (& personal priorities ?), I HAD to get my...
That was a miserable experience. Apparently I had a successful preorder but the dealer & Acura rep couldn’t confirm for about a month even though I had a confirmation number. It didn’t look like everyone else’s tho - it was like a partial screen crash. It aggravating.
Yeah, my wife is all over the place with what she wants & so am I. My parameters are constantly changing which doesn’t help. I was originally comparing a used GTS to a new Seqouia. Me leaning GTS & her leaning Toyota of course. Neither one of us have owned a Toyota ?.
I like the way BMW’s look...
I’m looking for something for my wife, but no rush - she might even say just to wait a couple years. But I’d like to trade her Durango for a Macan GTS, Cayenne S non turbo, or…new Toyota Seqouia. She will decide & assume she’s going to continue leaning Toyota which I don’t mind since I can...
Some of it is just that time of year. Folks recouping from holidays & waiting on taxes. One of my dealers confirmed that’s what they’ve been hearing lately as well as per the usual this time of year.
That’s some great info to go by. @Blek le Roc is in my area also. I was just going to wait until March/April, then again Sept/Oct for the temps & weather we might see.
