  1. Key Fob Start Trouble?

Try using the other key fob and see if you can replicate your issue with the other key
  2. Start delay + CEL + codes for adaptive cruise, exhaust, etc. from coolant leak?

You happen to get the trouble codes from them? Doubtful your coolant reservoir is the cause. Also the reason Hondas/Acuras light up like Christmas’s tree’s are because multiple modules depend on one another and if a trouble code is found in one of them then the other modules are basically...
  3. How do you know when your brakes are toast?

First thing I ever do is retract the EPB back even before removing the wheels. Have accessory mode on, and keep the calipers on and put in maintenance mode. This way if it does go back into normal mode it’ll stop once it feels the brake pads and not pop out the piston. Stupid question you had...

  7. Bolt torque speacs for rear suspension, ITS

Really just comes down to what you feel comfortable with. If you feel safe buying used and trust it then go that route, if you don’t feel safe or trust it, bite the bullet and buy new airbags
  8. Bolt torque speacs for rear suspension, ITS

Never seen new airbags redeploy after being replaced before installing the new module. Certain criteria have to be met in order for airbags to deploy, that being said the airbag light will still be on, and as always disconnect the battery and wait 5-10 min before working on SRS components. Also...
  9. Bolt torque speacs for rear suspension, ITS

It depends on what codes are set in the module. If it’s just simple airbag DTC’s then yes a scan tool can clear them, but if it’s crash codes, which if that many airbags deployed, I’m sure it will have stored then you’ll have trouble/fail clearing those. You need to have the crash data reset...
  10. Bolt torque speacs for rear suspension, ITS

Best to replace the whole seat belt assembly. You’ll also need to replace the SRS module (needs to be programmed as well as the sensors need to be neutralized and seat sensors need to be initialized). Air bags are airbags and will never be cheap. Doubt there’s much aftermarket support yet so OEM...
  11. Oil change dip stick reading high

Sand down the orange plastic, not a lot but just until the shininess is gone. Easier to read
  12. P0013 code after bolts ons

A VTC connector disconnected will definitely do it lol. That code is pretty simple to diag
  13. P0013 code after bolts ons

The exhaust VTC solenoid is located near the left front side (passenger side) of the engine, you would have ran into it (or been able to see the connector for it) when installing the inlet pipe. When installing/removing the vtc exhaust solenoid the inlet pipe has to be removed also. If you can...
  14. P0013 code after bolts ons

Also is the code stored, current, or permanent? (Usually says on the scan tool) if it’s stored means it was an issue and is no longer an issue (code can be erased). Will come back if problem reappears. current means it’s an issue and is still happening now (can be erased) but will return once...
  15. P0013 code after bolts ons

in the photo it’s #7 and #6. Those are the VVT actuators and that’s what the P0013 is referring to. Don’t remember off the top my head but off the diagram I’d assume #7 is the exhaust one which is what the code is referring to. When was your last oil change ? As dirty or old oil can sometimes...
  16. P0013 code after bolts ons

What sensor did you replace? Because that’s for the camshaft exhaust solenoid not the camshaft position sensor. Usually a 2 wire set up where one wire receives constant battery power and PCM grounds the solenoid to change camshaft timing. Should hear it click with the engine off when grounded
  17. Oil change dip stick reading high

What Honda/Acura recommends for an oil change capacity on a cold engine will always be high on these new dip sticks I’ve come to realize. If you want to follow “per the Honda service manual”, they want you to get the car to operating temp until the cooling fans come on, let sit for 3 min then...
